I've been away for to long. I need the support I recieved from this board
for 3 years.
I don't have all the answer's. What I do have is understanding, Joy, and
the will to help you if I can.
I'll be back tomorrow younguns.
I had WLS Feb. of 06. I have gained weight, lost my way, and came home.
Thank You all for showing up each day, this board is about Human people.
We make really bad screwp's, take a second chance , and if we are super lucky,
we find this kind of sisterhood. Peg ,In Red, or you can call me , Red Slipper Sister

Oh, Peg - you bring tears to my eyes.    We're none of us perfect.  It's not about getting to perfection, it's more about the journey.  We're all in this journey together.   I need help too & and ready to clean up my act starting right now.   No more drinking & cut my carb intake in half!!!     I'm gonna try drinking caffeine free tea at night (instead of eating bad carbs), which is advise I got from a dear Sister at OFF.

I thought wls was a magic bullet (it seemed like one for awhile).    I still am a believer, but can not ignore the fact that good nutrition, following my Doctor's orders and getting lots of exercise is the way I need to live this journey I call life.

I'm gonna call it a nite & go to sleep early, then tomorrow I have plans, so I'll be busy, which is always a good thing.     I'll be looking for your posts.

you are home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

No one of us is perfect - It's about the journey and the folks we meet along the way, IMHO.  It's about enjoying the moments that take your breath away and being kind to yourself.

Luv ya my sistah!!!  And I am sooooooo glad I finally got to meet you in person!!

Hi there dear Sistah!

I hope our meet is a new beginning for many of us to stay connected to continue to share in this journey that we all began at varying times and let's face it, life is full of detours, but detours almost always lead back to the main road if we follow the directions, but sometimes we need to stop and ask someone, which way is the road back. . .

Hugs and much love, Laureen

Dear Peg, I feel our family is once again complete  with your return. There are so many out there that have been missed, but for me, you have been at the top of the list.

Welcome home

Susan
