Hi Peg

I also am glad you are back.  I too have not posted regularly even if I am lurking.  I am tired today but soooooo glad I got to reunite with old friends and meet a few new ones.  I gain so much motivation and insight from our little get togethers not to mention new sights such as....hats, hats, and more hats.  Then there is your lovely new red shoes.  I am still looking for a cowboy for Candy.  She is just so picky.  Whats wrong with a little odor????

A little scent is OK, but the odor thing is just too much for me.  Sigh....never satisfied, that's me!

Got home very late last night, slept till the kitties woke me at 7.  Napped already today for 2 hours, and that may not be the last one today.

New job starts tomorrow.  It's time to settle down.

Thanks, Mary

It was at my 40th HS class reunion last summer.  First time in 30 years I was under 200 lbs.

It felt good.  I let them include me in pictures, for the first time in a LONG while....

I'm so glad to see you here again!  You won't remember but you gave me good advice and helped me enjoy a swimsuit moment a ways back.

I am wearing red shorts as I write this, and that is entirely your doing.  I would be wearing red jeans but I haven't found them in my rare shopping trips.

I hit a low for literally one day (dehydrated from flying) almost exactly 18 months out and then began to add back a few pounds.  Eighteen pounds, to be exact and then I called a halt to it.  Tracking weight each morning, I can vary by as much as seven pounds a week, but the highest number hasn't gone up in at least 10 months.  Nor has the lowest gone down...  but I am healthy.

I am capable of eating larger portions than I would like.  I have been vigilant on not bringing the various forms of "white death" into the house but I have been known to visit a Chinese Buffet or two.  And to eat freedom fries out every few months.  In other words, the food addiction is strong, but just for this meal, I will satisfy it with Triscuits and tomatoes after I eat my chunk of protein.

Thanks for prompting me to share the details, I hope someone will benefit.

It was great to meet you Peg. You have such a kind caring manner as I told you and always smiling. You helped me figure out a way to help myself now that I am back home. I intend to get this weight off my body once again and will be re joining Curves this week. Curves will help me be more mobile and will let me socialize a bit each time I go.
