Today is going to be a Heinz Day - ya know the type of day you play catchup ?

WLS has made it difficult to find the proper bra. Most local shops don't have people qualified to do a professional fitting. My daughter has urged me to visit Victoria's Secret. The cheapo in me has rebelled against spending that kind of $$$ just to hold up the girls. (small task)

Anne-Marie gave me a gift certificate to VS.  This could be interesting. Do 62 year old women really shop there?

Annette:  VS will  measure you for free.....my sis and I went into their store at the mall last year and they were very happy to measure both of us.   We didn't buy anything either.  I've always worn Playtex 18 hr. bras and find them to stay in good shape for a long time.
I order mine from Just My Size catalog or online.

We have a really nice lingerie shop here in LR that is owned by a woman who is our age, staffed by the same. They get you into a dressing room, top off and determine just the right fit and type for you. The prices aren't any different than they would be in a department store, since the manufacturer sets the price, but the customer service is so worth it. After you use your VS gift card, you might look around for a place like that.

I'm still home waiting on the workers, read your post and wanted to tell you that one of the women in my support group, who is our age, swears by her Victoria Secrets Wonder bra and I have to say, it does look darn good on her, they are expensive, but cheaper than plastics. . .  though I have not been able to let go of an old wound with a VS sales clerk from a couple of years back (where I went into the store with a friend of mine, so she could buy something for her daughter, well the clerk looked me up and down and then turned to my friend and said, can I help you), so I won't spend my money at a VS, at least not now, maybe one day. . .
