I think I may have found a protein drink I can tolerate

I'm hoping this is it.  I ordered Inspire Ice Cream Sandwich, 30 grams of protein for one scoop.  I just got it today and managed to get down a drink - WOO HOO!  I just hope I can drink at least one of these a day in order to meet the daily protein requirement.  Surgeon told me yesterday not to focus/worry so much about the protein for now....he said that will come in time.

Glad you finally found one you could manage.  Big victory.
I love the Walmart super cheap Strawberry ($15) mixed with 4 oz. crystal light (watered down), 4 oz soy milk,  ice and some fruit.  Tastes like a milkshake to me.

There protein is the best tasting you can find I think.

I thought about ordering the PB cookie, but I've been spending so much money on trying to find a protein drink that would not make me nauseous.  I may try that one after I'm positive the Ice Cream Sandwich isn't going to make me sick.

I was on the vitalady site and you can order single samples for about $2 each plus shipping.  There are samples like Syntha-6 and the Lean Dessert that you can try as well.  I am over a year out but I want to try some of those myself for those mornings where I can't wait until I get to work to eat breakfast.  The thought of spending $20 or more on a big tub of something I don't like scares me a bit and this way I can try each one.

Also, you can get samples from Chike.com (5 for $3). 

The Gold Standard double chocolate fudge doesn't taste like protein at all.  It's really good, and not gritty at all.
