I AM HOME AGAIN....
It is so healthy, Judy, to be able to have your grief and the closure that came of it. You were brave and smart to go there and should feel good about that decision and follow through.

THANKYOU eileen!!! if it wasn't for ricks money for cedar point he saved i wouldn't have been able to go back to michigan...i am glad i went even tho it was a sad occasion. but it DID give me closure!! it made me realize there WERE good times even tho i had forgotten most of them over the last several years. gary is at peace now and no longer suffering.

I am glad that you made your peace with Gary at the gravesite and that things went as well as they did with his family. You post sounds like you have peace knowing you did what you needed to and you already know that Gary is at peace, so enjoy living and your new life!
