RE: Linda S. (My mom) Missing in Action

As some of you may know, a few weeks ago my mom had a knee surgery. She fell on it when she came straight home, and had to go back into the hospital. 

She is now in Rehab and that's why you haven't heard from her. I urged her to take her laptop, but she does not trust having it availible for theft.  Her phone is having trouble keeping a charge, but she has asked me to update you all on her status.

If you would like me to convey a message, go on and respond to this post. : ) If you want her number, I will ask her about it and pass the message along as there is a phone in her room.

She is doing well, but recovery from knee surgery is quite painful, she informs.
Not sure when she is getting out... but she has been there for about a week so far.

Oh Olivia, thank you so much for posting!!  We've been so worried about your mom since we haven't heard from her in so long.
I've been out of touch a bit, didn't know she fell after she got home. Golly, that can't be good!!!!

Give her big hugs for me and tell her I send my love.

Keep us up on her progress, will you?


Also, tell her that none of us are eating since she's not here to do the thread. She'll get a kick out of that, I'm sure   LOL

I definitely will do. She asked me to bring her some fresh apples and taquitos tomorrow- balance and all that. LOL

 I miss her.   I always read her thread..

Please tell your mom we miss her & hope things get better for her soon.

Thanks so much for letting us know about your mom.  Please tell her that I send lots of well wishes and prayers! 

I'm so glad she's basically all right.  I'm sure she's not happy in Rehab and giving those nurses and PT's a run for their money.  I know she wants to be home, but tell her to bite the bullet, work hard and she'll get home when they feel she's ready.  Sending prayers her way.
