I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Sorry about the Dish problems..believe me its really not much better with cable..we lose that quite often and its expensive. However, where I live (country) you don't get tv. reception unless you have cable..so.
I'm hoping for a warm day today..so far its freezing. I think we came close to a frost last night and tonight is supposed to be colder. Winter definitly has its eye on NY. Winters here can be brutal, and after losing all of the weight, I'm usually freezing if its 70 degrees..can't wait to see what happens when it falls to 30 (sigh)!
I'm thinking about getting some apples today and try to figure out a way to make some low fat, low carb , sugar free apple crisp. My kids love it and my granddaughter has been begging me to cook with apples. She's 5 and such a joy.
I'm still having some tummy troubles, finally the docs are going to put me on antibiotics and see if it helps. At this point I don't think it could hurt. They wanted me in the ER again! last night and I just couldn't. So I'll try anything right now that will keep me out of the hospital.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday....keep smiling!!!

Can you BELIEVE how cold it got while we were away??? Good old New York!
I spent yesterday doing outside stuff for 4 hours, and will do the same today. I don't bring plants inside, as it's just too hard to keep the cats at bay. When I first moved into this house, I foolishly hung a beautiful spider plant 'way up high, away from all the furniture. When I cam back into the room 2 hours later, two of my little darlings were hanging on the decimated basket by their front paws, trying to get the last of the green stuff gobbled down before Mommy caught them. The third one was watching from the floor, catching the "crumbs", 'cause she was too fat to make the leap. From where did they leap? Got me!
Green poop. A LOT of green poop! Not to mention that they puked for 2 days. TMI, I know, but we cat lovers understand only too well.....
Bet the little darlings missed you. Mine have been underfoot for the past week. I love them, but it's tough to walk with 14 lbs of fur on each foot..... Nice and warm, though. It's 52 degrees here this morning, and I'm damned if I'll turn on the furnace befor the end of September....
Everyone have a great weekend.
