What's new Saturday

Saturday afternoon already..what happened to the day?  Two funerals, one visitation.....harvesting more summer savoury, laundry and wrapping a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law. Tomorrow the whole family goes out for Brunch at a locla high end restautrant for her birthday.  They are all having the buffet...darned it  includes shrimp and crab legs but Im not paying $25.00 for my share of a buffet...guess I will order off the menu but its not a focus for me like it would have been BEFORE surgery. *s*

I still am in a bot of shock to have found out the death of FOUR I know all in one day...including the death of a newborn...daughter of a close friend of Derek's...how sad, the little one apparently had Down's Syndrome so, in retrosect, it CAN be seen as a blessing..still sad though.  I guess that's one less baby blanket to wrap up.

A frost warning this week...what??? Im headed outside to sit on my verandah for a while to enjoy what's left of the sun.

Swinging LilyRose, my SillyRose cat for good luck, Margo...healing thoughts and prayers going out to all those who need them, encouragement and cheers to those headed to and returning from surgeries and hugs all around!

Oh yes..saw someone's great grand daughter was named Lily Rose..how sweet! That's the name of my miracle kitty, LilyRose who was born with a broken back and HEALED! The Vet says she shouldnt be alive but she is a healthy beautiful indoor kitty now at 15 pounds!
