What is New Its Sunday Sept 20, 2009

Howdy, Neighbors!

Started with the day with "The Practice" so didn't get out of bed until 8 a.m., showered and went to $4.  Son came over to the coffee shop and we went to Sprouts, Central Market, Williams Sonoma, Kroger's, and Costco....then back to Southlake Towne Center to Rockfish for a shrimp margarita (shrimp ****tail with a kick).... now home.  Put up what few groceries I bought and think now I'll take a nap... I will not have accomplished anything this weekend and next weekend Linda Barnett and I are roomies at the Dallas OH Conference for three days.

I'm suffering mightily from Empty Nesters Syndrome and can't do a thing about it nor would I want to.  Just having to reclaim some life I have missed.

Took DIL and Kara to Grapefest yesterday afternoon and got home at dark-thirty.  Was fun but would have enjoyed it had I been able to go through the wine shops with all the tastings...:)

That's it for me.  Perhaps there's a Law & Order Marathon going on and I can get into the perfect murder.....

Thanks to all of you.  I am gonna love visiting this place.  I don't know why I haven't ventured here before.  I suppose there is a reason for everything.  All of you sound so busy and interesting that I will be here often.  I stay pretty busy with grandkids, dogs, job and husband.  Cooler weather is on the way so I wll enjoy getting outdoors more.  I just can't seem to take the heat like I could when I was younger.  Hope all of you enjoy your Sunday and thanks for the "warm welcome".  See ya tomorrow night, Carla!!!  Lynne

Welcome, Lynne ... interesting? All I do is go to work, come home, sleep, scoop litter boxes, go back to work at night, come home and sleep, repeat. it's pretty boring, really.

Hi Lynne.  I am the token daily guy.  I post almost every weekday, and some weekends.  Good to have new people around.

I'm back from IN and the Pygmy Goat Show.  Had a great time with friends.  Did really well to.  Not sure when I will be going to the next one.   I ended up with two of the grands for the night.  Their Mom was flying home and she is stranded in Atlanta.
