Had a terrible evening and nite.....guess I'll never learn not to eat pork.
Grilled a small pork steaK for lunch yesterday and had a nice salad with it.....chewed and chewed the meat and it went down well, but about 3:30 I started getting sick.....got rid of some of it, but there was obviously something stuck.....horrible pain....feeling tired but ok this morning and plumbing is working.    NO MORE PORK!

Off to work this morning, just having a cup of tea now, and probably just some yogurt for breakfast.

Have a good Monday, all.   Special thoughts and prayers for those in need.

Pat,

Sorry you had trouble with the pork you ate yesterday, and I hope you are feeling back to normal this morning.  Reading stuff like this makes me in no hurry whatsoever to eat meat like pork, steak or anything tough for that matter.  That cup of tea sounds wonderful....I may just have to make myself a cup in a little bit.  Haven't had tea since my surgery and it's about time I have a cup of decaffeinated tea. - YUM!

Have a great day!

Debbie

Thanks Debbie  -- I'm tired and tummy feels sore, but I'm at work now.   I drink a cup of decaf green tea every morning ....I really enjoy it and it's supposed to have good anti-oxidents in it.

Hope your day is good, too.

Pat

I recently read in a holistic site that adding a few drops of LEMON ( slice of leon)  helps release even more antioxidents.  Im also a green tea drinker *s*

Don't get too scared off ... not everybody has problems. I have always been able to eat everything without any problems, as long as I chew and eat slowly. (If I eat too fast or too much, that's when I have problems. I've learned!)

Thanks, Eileen.  I'm still on soft foods and I'm following my plan as outlined by the dietician, nurse, and surgeon.  So far, so good.  Have a great day!

Thanks Connie -- I won't be eating any kind of pork anytime soon....it was definately stuck somewhere.   It worried me that I was throwing up so hard -- I was afraid of damaging my pouch....my tummy is sore this morning and I just had some yogurt for breakfast and that was a little iffy.

Well, we haven't had rain since August 29th, so I guess this weather is to be expected.  It's absolutely pouring outside,  but it will keep things green for a while.
Had a great weekend with Gary up here.  He went home yesterday, but left me a honey do list.  Not too big of one, so I think I can handle it.
Going to Goodwill again today.
I've gotten addicted to playing Bejeweled on MSN.com.  It's free.  Spent many hours last night playing, rather than watching repeats on TV.
Gotta get working on the baby shower invitations for my soon to be grand.  Hope everyone has a good beginning to a new week.
Margo, I understand your frustration.  You're not being selfi**** is your turn for something good.  Prayers for you going up.
