This recipe was posted on one of the other forums here. Thought I'd post it here for those who may be interested. It sounded wonderful, and I have some in the oven baking right now. I sure hope it turns out good.

Jan,
Oh my gosh....I just took it out of the oven and tried a little bite - it's really really good.
I used the second recipe using the I Can't Believe It's Butter, and I also used the banana extract and added walnuts. I sprinkled the top with Splenda and Cinnamon before it went into the oven. I used a glass baking dish for mine. It turned out perfectly! You won't be disappointed and our house smells so yummy. Let me know how you like it.

I either was not ready for this type of recipe yet or ate too fast or didn't chew good enough....it was stuck there for a bit, so I thought (foolishly) I'd sip some water, became nauseous and ended up getting sick and up it came. I felt immediately better after this, but I'm going to be safe and freeze the rest of it today, saving it for a later date when I heal more and maybe can enjoy it. It's very tasty, but thought I'd warn you ahead of time. This is the first bready-like food I've had since surgery and just feel it could have been too soon for me.
Good luck with the recipe!

Doesn't it just blow your mind how good you can feel immediately after throwing up now? Sorry to hear you had that experience, but it happens to all of us. My cousin is 3 years out and I asked her if she felt her pouch was still tiny and working. She said she and her boyfriend went to dinner chinese and she had egg drop soup and some sort of chicken. Before they even left the restaurant she was in the bathroom getting rid of it. She said she thinks she just ate too much, but was glad she had leftovers to enjoy the next day! I tried a piece of Ezekiel bread toasted, but didn't eat the whole thing. I had it with tomato and mayo. Tasted real good, but didn't want to press my luck. I can eat pita bread with hummus tho without a problem. Right now I'm eating pork rinds cuz I needed something crunchy and there is 9 grams of protein in 1/2 an ounce. Who'da ever thought pork rinds could be sort of good for you?
Now that today is here I don't feel like baking, so I'm going to do laundry instead and freeze the bananas.

Jan,
It is amazing how good you feel after getting sick like that. It was three quick little upchucks and I immediately felt relief.
I'll have to try some pork rinds. Have you tried roasted Edamame? I can get those down after chewing the heck out of them, and they're really high in protein and really good. You would like the crunch of them.
I froze the banana protein bread for a later date. I just don't think I'm ready for that yet.
I wish I could rid myself of this tired feeling I get in the afternoons. I swear I could take a nap....and I'm trying to keep my eyes open. Sometimes I feel like I should just go with the flow and take a rest - lol
Hope you're getting lots done in your new home. Are you liking it a lot? I'm so ready to move.....looking forward to downsizing somewhat in the (hopefully) near future.
Enjoy your day!
