Margo, I'm just catching up here....so very sorry you've fallen and hurt your ankle!  How did it happen? Did you go to the doctor to see if it's broken? Gosh, with our calcium issues it isn't hard to imagine that it could easily happen, especially with an ankle that's been injured before.

Please take care....

Susan

thx...remember me-one of 140 Million Americans with no health insurance????
nope- lotsof ice and an ace bandage and keeping it elevated-percoset knocks me out and it helped me sleep thru the pain...

owie--yesterday it hurt with the rolling walker! so roxie and i stayed in bed or on the recliner til one or both  of us had to potty!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo:

Ice, rest, elevation (lots of pillows) ... you said you had some percocet ...

I wish I could share my health insurance with you ... this is why we need health care reform in this country. There are too many people (and especially those who work, like you) who don't have health insurance and go without health care when they really need it. It's shameful in this country. We are the richest country in the world but we don't take care of each other. It's a travesty.

Hey Eileen..I agree..for one week on FACEBOOK, my status was: People shouldnt have to die because they cannot afford health coverage! Our Canadian system is not operfect but at least we all have the right ti see a doctor when we are sick and not have to mortgage our home . This is NOT, (according to fears of the uneducated and the FEAR-MONGERERS) NOT Communism! *gets off my soapbox*

From another Canadian, Amen.
And I will continue to pay high taxes (almost with pleasure LOL)in order for all of us to have the right to be able to see a doctor, have an x-ray, etc., when we need one.

Thank you, Margo.  Its been hard for me to know that my weght loss wasnt "complete" like so many tho I tried so hard. It was frustrating ..wanting to get rd of this extra skin...lol..and hearing my thighs FLAP! as  walk..  But I do walk much better now..no more cane...smaller support atockings and I FIT under the steering wheel of my car....yayy!

It will be very hard to be seen in a bathing suit,,thats my next challenge for sure.

Im so sorry that you fell, thank goodness that you didnt break your annkle..imagine trying to pack and move a household then! Perhaps Roxie is simply feeling your pain..animals are far more sensitive then we raalize.  *hugs*..Rest and take care of you!

nancy-you know that i have never reached goal either-got within 25 # when all of michael's health crapola started in '05...so i get very sensitive when ppl think we continue to be failures--even tho i  regained 33# initially (of which i am now back down13); i consider the success to have NOT regained all 83# i had lost!!!! and a host of other things...

anyhow--you have always been a success in my book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Margo..I dont know what happend to my response to your kind post. But thank you again.  How did you fall? and how wonderful that you did NOT break your ankle sgsin...thnak goodness for that! Imagine trying to pack and move with a broken ankle!?

Take your time, let it heal..hopefully it will be better soon. Keep upbeat..and wow, I understamd about negative hubbies sometimes....grrr.   Poor lil Roxie is obviously "reading" your feeling too...animals are so sensitive.  My Libby(cat) used to get so upset when JB yelled at me..that's the only thing that stopped him..she would squeak and cry so he would calm down and comfort HER.

Well theres still time for the house sale..I dont have any chickens r'ight now but I made a mightly fine Chicken Pasta Primaverra for the guys for supper while I attend my BPW (Business & Professional Women's  meeting tonight...can I swing that w/o sending pasta and veggies flying? why not!?!

Nancy ~

Your contributions are always wonderful. I shake my head in awe of your full life.

As for JB ... it is too bad that our loved ones don't come with a "block" button. You are not a failure at all!!!
