What's New WEDNESDAY - HUMP DAY!

Tell me more about this ... e-mail me ... I have allergies, headaches, fibro and pain, so all of those things. I understand about the leg swelling too ... not as bad as you, but since the knee replacement, the legs constantly swell.

Keep your chin up. My mom constantly rags on me, too ... when I told her I was having WLS, the first thing she said was "You're going to gain it all back." Yeah, thanks, Mom, for having so much faith in me. Now she's my biggest fan. Always telling me how nice I look. But I let her know how disappointed I was in that comment and she eventually apologized. Her putting me down has never helped in my self-esteem.

oh...as for some mentioning the huge bird being a turkey buzzard...well it didn't have a red head at all...sort of grey and black on it...all i know is it is HUGE!!!! wish i would have taken the bird book when i left michigan....sighs

what started out as a rainy looking day turned into a steamy sunny one after all. wi**** would rain to take this mugginess away.

took rick to his classes at the unemployment place this morning also...and since he took this same class 4 months ago they told him he didn't need to repeat it!! sooo off we went and stopped at super kmart and bought a couple beef roasts for just under $5 each. wanted to cook one for supper tonight but it is to hot up here to have oven going for a few hours.

we still need to see the apartment manager on our new lease. we are not happy with the way things are around here but can't afford to move...and there really isn't anything cheaper in a great neighborhood like we have now...

well bandit needs to go out so i will say bye for now... :-)

I know turkey buzzards have their place here in this world..eating carrion/oadkill...but yes, they are HUGE and intimidating.  We are also having off again, on again sunshine and rain here..

On Monday at 6:30, there was such a gorgeous FULL and brightly-coloured rainbow..only lasted seven minutes and I was headed to a meeting ..my Minds for Success..and had no camera with me..I wish Id had it..the rainbow was stunning...people were standing in the streets just looking up at it!

Brenda's having computer problems again. But she's doing OK.

I talked to Brenda the other day. She is fine and babysitting Kayden. Her computer went awahl. So she said hi to everyone. Carla

Hi all!  Just reading up on your lives.  I didn't get much done today, had the grand baby.  Than had to take him to his house to get his brother off the bus.  Just got back home.

Still trying to figure out how I gained 3 pounds yesterday when I couldn't even eat.
