What's New Wednesday..
He went ahead and did my eye exam as he wasn't that busy -- 20/20 vision with my glasses, no glaucoma or diabetic retinitus - says everything looks great.....will go back in three 3wks for eye test for new glasses - got new ones last year, but the lenses are too small and the bi=focals bother me as they are too close.....
As soon as the dilation wears off, I need to go to Walgreens to get the ointment for my eye.
Chili making will have to wait until tomorrow, good thing I have other food I can fix easily.

sandy i am glad that you gave that shih tzu a home and that it is a joy to have!! my little guy is such a love and is always there for me it seems when i am down and out...in time the older one will accept him just wait it out.

pat r guess what i found??? i found and bought for you a couple jars of sf orange marmalade!!! will get them in the mail hopefully this weekend!! my thankyou to you for the yarn you sent me!!! we also went on a shopping trip looking for a new loom so i could make the afghan!! we finally found one for just under $4.00!!! so guess who will be busy making flowers now...lol i can't wait to get started knowing that it will be a goofy looking afghan but it will be made from the love of my Off family that cared enough to help me out with this yarn they sent me!! :-)
laureen...i also had some dizzy moments today...drank some very strong coffe and had a caffine rush?? i do drink caffine but wow!! this stuff was waaaay strong for me!!! glad you know what caused it!!
weather here is still cold and rain off and on but its finally starting to show some blue sky once again...freeze watch/warnings out for tonight...BRRRRRR i love the fall colors but hate being so dang cold all the time!!!
went to see about food stamps for rick this morning and he was approved...yippeeeee!!!! she then asked me if i wanted to apply also...i told her if my hours were cut any more i would...she asked me how many hours i was getting and how much i made an hour...she figured it out and she said i also am eligible for some help with food stamps!! sooo i am getting some help also for food now. ;-)
well its time for supper so need to get off here then after we eat i am starting the flowers for my afghan....look out arms here come the hives....lol

Does the yarn irritate your skin????? I would put lotion on before you start working with it, maybe that will help. With this sty in my eye I can't work on my cross stitch right now and just when I was making such good progress.
