Just Dropped in To Say Hi
It's been a long time since I've posted, I know .... by the look of things not many will remember me.
We're both (hubby John) and I are ok. I'm staying so busy I have met myself coming and going... I'm still very involved at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, been made the head receptionist on top of being the membership chairperson for The Friendsof CCMA. I'm also the museums' unofficial photgrapher. I'm still part of the Tuesday craft group . I'm the lead photographer of the Garden Club and have now taken on being the website co -ordinator for the Dennis-Harwich Lions Club . Plus all my own flowers and vegetables.
In 2 weeks (Oct 14) I get a new right knee...I'm so looking forward to it ... We didn't take our usual trip back to see my kids in Wisconsin this fall because of my knee. But we sure do plan to next fall ... so we'll be looking forward to seeing bunches of you again.
I'll try to check back in later.... buh bye.

I am glad you are finally getting the old knee fixed up.....You will feel much better.
Boy I cant keep up with yuo and John doing what you do. Keep it up.
Carl and I are fine, We might be going to Chicago on Friday for a week. He doesnt know he is going. I am just going to pack up him and the car and tell him when we are about 300 miles from home. Or Im just going to tell him we are going on an adventure!!!!!!!
We missed you in Dallas, We had a great time inspite of the rain down there.
Carla
so glad to see you pop in-you and john are in my heart and on my mind daily!
hard to think it was almost a year ago we hugged in frankenmuth amongst the gnomes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Joyce,
I know life gets in the way sometimes and that's also sometimes good. Sounds like you and John are staying busy. I'd love to visit your area some day. It sounds beautiful any time of year. I'm a Pisces. . . if I can smell water I want to be close to it!
I've had both knees replaced. Not fun, but so worth it. The first 3 weeks aren't much fun but by week 4 you should be getting around without a walker, perhaps still using a cane. The best advice I can give is to make sure you do your physical therapy faithfully and don't be afraid to take your pain pills. I especially made sure I took a pill BEFORE going to therapy.
My new knees are 7 years old. Before replacement and WLS I was almost an invalid. Now watch me go! Hugs,
Karen C
