i had read that kenny was having the testing and promptly forgot about it so i figured you were just knee deep in school...gosh.....
everyone else has offered advice- i'm just sending hugs and prayers.....and saying that , even tho not all good news, at least we know what is going on......

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Your hubby's test is good news. However, your situation sure is not. Your do made a pretty drastic suggestion.. I surely would get a second or third opinion.
