I am a Jets fan.  Laureen, I always try to explain to people around the country that in NY you are either Jets/Mets or Giants/Yankees.  Very rare for the two to mix.

Jets vs Miami is always a bad memory for me.  The year before we got married I lost a $50 bet on the game.  We had bet payday stakes, but the guy wanted his money sooner.  Bottom line, Mary paid the bet for me.  This was a couple months after we were engaged.  I have been paying ever since.

no--when he lived on hawaii he started following the 9ers...

i had to pay a traffic ticket for my first hubby before we got married- he got it becuz of his ex gf --so he remembers well!!!!

I just have to say it -- Go 9ers!

Janet's been hiding and lurking in her mundane little world of work.

Work, sleep, over-eating, work, sleep, not eating, work, sleep... well, you get the picture.

Lots changing.  Older, job pressures, family, future, etc.  Not one to adjust to change very well, I'm afraid.  Trying to get my head out of my floppy arse and get back on some kind of track.

Sorry so many are having problems.  I truly understand.  Margo, I had the conversation, too, but he wanted a funeral.... so $6,000 later.... gee, now that would have been a Lifestyle Lift on my face.... sorry....I know it's rough....but a little levity sometimes..... pushes it to the far back....  I'm a holder-inner, not a let'er outter.  Sometimes wish I could.  I've got some bootstraps I use to pull myself up. I'll be happy to loan them to you but they must be returned.  I may need them again.  Keeping good thoughts for you and Michael today.

Glad to see our ever-sunny Laureen.  She's a joy if you haven't met her. If you get the opportunity, take it.  It's priceless.

LindaB and I had a great weekend at the OH Conference in Dallas.  Wish we had gotten more 'shopping' time.

Sitting here yawning and I'm all ready for work. Guess my head and body is telling me to get out of the house and head for $4.
