Connie prayers for Carrie. I have been there & the worry is worse than the proceedure. I had that done 3 times before they found cancer(almost 20 yrs. after the first one.) your family has been through so much.

How are things going with Morgan?
Nic is doing okay. He will be going back to St Judes/Memphis in about a week or so for more testing and maybe round 5 of the treatments. The FDA has to approve round 5 before he can get it.Rarely is a round 5 given.

Morgan is doing great! She had some testing done, finally. Her mom moved to Texas so she was delayed getting some things done. So far all is good. Nic is my inspiration for believing things will be ok. He is an awesome young man.

Connie, you aren't allergic to eggs are you????  Mine got a little red and hot, but not itchy......try putting cold compresses on it.

Pat R.......no I am not allergic to eggs...I don't get it. If it continues I will have to call my doctor.
My itching is all over my body not just at the site of the shot.

Hi Everyone...

Margo, prayers going your way today.   Hope all is well.

I decided to donate two hours of time to the church and work in the food pantry.  We will be giving food to people who are having a difficult time.  I know, they helped us once.  I felt like I had to give back somehow.

My son is off to groomer school for dogs.  It took me 45 min to get him there and another 45 min to get home.  He lost his license through a DUI.  I am not proud or happy about this.  He should get it back in January.  Between his girlfriend and me we take him everywhere.   I hate it..

I have two kids and they won't leave home..lol..  I have to stop doing their laundery. Maybe then they will go. lol

I go tomorrow to the church about the pantry.  I hope I can give up my time for this.  I am making a committment to do some things this year that help others.

AM losing weight so slowly.  I don't know what gives.   7lbs in six weeks.  Bummer.. I thought I would lose faster.

I almost hate to say it, but I'm glad to hear that you're bummed about your weight loss speed.  I feel exactly the same!  and our surgeries were only 2 days apart.  I know I'd never have lost this much weight in only a few months before, but I actually thought I'd be losing faster too.  I think it's my lack of exercise that's slowing me down.  Do you exercise a lot?
But then I think about carrying around a 50 pound bag of dog food, which is equivalent to what I've lost, and can't imagine doing it, so all in all it's good.

If I understand you correctly you have lost 50 #'s since mid July.  Without a calendar I am guessing that is 10 weeks.  Have you ever lost 5#'s a week pre WLS.  You are doing great!!!!!!!!!!  I will bet you are losing inches even if the scale seems to have stalled.  Keep working the plan and you will see a drop soon.
