Question about goal weight. Also posted on RNY forum

My surgeon was rather conservative too.  I think it may have a little bit to do with where they consider their "success rate".  I've sat in support groups after surgery where members were bemoaning the fact that they have not lost the weight they would like to, but the surgeon felt the loss they experienced was considered a success.  Of course others met their goals too so I'm sure you can lose more than that 60%.  The bemoaning folks had lost at least 60% too.
