Aloha Brenda and welcome home!

You were certainly missed in here........each day I would look and see if your picture was there, and nope...not for a long time.

You have your plate FULL and then spilling over the sides! Life can sure take turns without any warning, can't it. I know that you will find the strength to deal with whatever comes your way, and your gift is your darling little baby boy..........he was sent to you for a reason.

It's 5:30 a.m. here and reading your post first gave my day a great start.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Glad to have you back on the board, Brenda. I will e-mail you that photo I took of you so long ago so you can change your avatar. It was good talking to you a couple days ago. Stay in touch.

Brenda,

What a full plate you have right now. The two parents should be ashamed of themselves, kneel down and kiss your behind! The entire family is very lucky to have you - your OFF family included.

Brenda,
It is so nice to see your smiling face again.  You've been missed.
Sorry you and your family have been going through so much.  I admire your attitude towards it all and I'm confident things will all work out for the best.
Hang in there.
Be well

Brenda???  Brenda?   Didn't you used to post on here?

Oh, that Brenda!!

Seriously, you were missed.  As is everyone else here when they depart for a while for whatever reasons.  We are all part of a family.  We all make up the family of OFF.  Try to hang around, will ya??

Hope Bill finds something rather quickly.  I know what kind of stress that can have on you.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Brenda,

It is so good to see your post and know that while life is sweeping you in this and that direction, that you are looking for the positive and most especially in the smile of little Kayden!  But then again, I know your faith, while it can be tested at times, is something you highly rely on and that will surely get you through this as well.

As for the drama of the parents in this case, it is sad when two supposedly grown people act like the children they are supposed to be raising, but sometimes it just is that way and hopefully they will get their act together.  I have found that my children as well as their spouses, significant others, will confide in me, mainly because I have learned the art of listening and not taking sides, so they have come to me many times because they know I will not judge and will give them feedback only if asked and that I really am good at staying impartial.  It can be a blessing and a curse, because as you said, sometimes you'd rather not know.

As for Bill, I will certainly hope that he gets as lucky as I did, because being unemployed is not fun and it becomes a fulltime job to find employment these days!  So my prayers and positive thoughts will be for all these situations to right themselves in as quick a time as possible.

Hugs, Laureen
