Happy to be Alive
Thank you all of you for your kind words and prayers! In many ways, I feel stronger aready.
I'm trying to get my emotions under control..not only about this but about a friend's impending death too. My friend, John, has multiple mylemoa stage 4 and they've just taken him off chemotherapy as it's not doing what it should.
I've known John since I was a little girl of 6. I've known and loved him for 50 years (well, ok...as a little girl whose hair he pulled, I didn't love him that much then). He's married to a good friend of mine and together they have 4 young children. His wife does not want to talk to anyone, she's so depressed. It's so sad all around.
So I ask too that you add John and his family to your prayer lists. For strength, courage and faith.
