very interesting, annette!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

They probably want them young kids, but that is okay.  As long as someone is passing it on.  We all find our time and place to spread the news of our surgery.  I have only spoken before a group on it one time, but I talk about it one on one at least once a week to someone new.

They told me the name of one person and she is probably the very best example plus a good speaker. She is young but more important, she works super hard to achieve success.

I think the decision was wise.

good morning!! i was awake at 430 but managed to snaek about two more hours in - have been cruising the internet about some loom knitting stuff and finally am getting here-

today is a paid holiday for me so yay!! michael gets his flu shot at 1130 and i think we need a few groceries-

never got dressed yesterday--managed to sort thru some boxes of "stuff" -papers and things -and shredded up old bills and the like- then burned them. found the second key for my safe deposit box so i can close that now! emptied it a month ago before the annual fee was charged- hope they will refund the prorated amount! i was so proud of self for finding that key cuz it truly was NOT where it should have been!!!!! also found a receipt for the carpet we bought for our living room and never laid down- have an offer to buy it if we don't leave it with the house- someone who has a trailer they rent out needs to replace the floorings....anyhow-didn't work hard but very profitable!

today i need to write a few letters-keep putting them off....

have NO CLUE about the house showing-dunno if my realtor heard anything yet- probly put a call in to her today....hate to be a bother...

michael is getting antsy about moving-checking with diff companies for rates to ship our furniture etc--each time i think we have this settled- what to take *what to replace ther (cheaper than shipping?) * what is really that important-* the rules change...

nothing else really "new" i don't think- sending hugs and prayers to all of you

Good morning early birds!

Yesterday we went to church and met my dad at Bakers Square for breakfast.  Stayed about an hour and a half if not more.   Then off to see see my husbands parents who live near by.  Stayed and ate and played cards.  They always save stuff for us like twigs for our wood burner and green tomatoes.   They don't see anyone during the week and count on us on Sunday.  It is hard to make it every Sunday.  We feel guilty when we tell them we have things to do.  lol.

I guess this morning I am going to clean up the house.  My mother in law gave us a bowl of stuffed cabbage to take home.  That will be tonights dinner.  Wonderful! I don't have to cook for a change.

I have art class tonight, which I love.  I am painting a cat sleeping in acrylics.  I hope it turns out.

Other than that....  and getting stuff together for the goodwill nothing is too new.

Have a good day to all ....

Good morning everyone!! Good morning George...You do stay up late and early don't you?

Today is a busy day.. I have physical therapy, need to go in and get the oil changed in the car, pick up a few groceries (so my son won't starve while I'm in the hospital) and we have support group meeting tonight.

OHHHH Annette you have peaked my curiosity.  Exactly who is speaking at the seminar?  Not me I hope..but I'm curious none the less.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week.  I know its cold here in NY.  I bought a ceramic heater for my living room, but I finally had to break down and turn on the heat.  The living room was warm, but the rest of the house is FREEZING!!!  Even my cats are cold.  Brrrr!!!

Keep smiling everybody and have a great day.

Well, unfortunately they, they will pay me to surf the net, but not to sleep.

Today I set my alarm for 1:30, as usual.  Forgetting I am not working my part time job because I am going to Bible study tonight.  So I could have slept 3 more hours at least!  I am going back in to lay down.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Today is kind of dull and dreary looking out there.  Decaf w/ vanilla protein powder and SF Kaluha syrup for me this morning.  My new patio door will be installed today so I'll be home for the morning anyway.  I hope it doesn't take too long, maybe 3 hours or so.  After the door is installed, in to town I go to get a 10% rebate on the door.
I've got a gift card for Borders, so I may go there and buy a book for my new grandson soon to be born.  I'm thinking a Richard Scarey book.  My boys loved them and they're educational as well.  I think I'll get the one with the trucks and cars.
He'll like that when he gets older.
Well, I think I'll try to get some dusting done.
Good wishes to everyone!

Years ago when Mary got an accident settlement, we used part of it to have the sliding patio door taken out and French doors put in.  Then we added a 18x20 sun room.  Now that is Mary's office for her scrapbooking.

French doors would have been nice, but the sliding patio door is easier when you've got three dogs to let in and out.  The Pella door has the screen on the inside too which is nice because then the door doesn't get all pitted from rain going through the screen and hitting the glass.  Now if I lived in Texas I'd probably have a sun room too.  No need for a sun room here, since we don't see it much!
I do have a screened porch to keep out the mosquitos during the spring and summer and I love sitting out there.  In the summer I often sleep on the couch out there rather than in my bed.
Raining now, they say maybe 1" of snow in the morning.  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....
It is what it is.
