Not when you have a new picture, take a picture of yourself like I did.  Then post it.  I'm curious to see your new do...

I enjoyed reading the posts today... as I do everyday.

My day is shaping up slowly.  I had a fun weekend with nothing going on until Sunday.  I took my grandson to the pumpkin patch again.  Gotta love the innocence of the little ones.  Of all the pumpkins and gourds there were to choose from he picked up gourd that is the most uninteresting one.  He hauled it all over the place and finally we took it home.  He didn't like the caramel apple, it kept sticking to his teeth.  I cut it up when we got home so it was better for him.
Today I get together with my sewing guild to put the final touches on our annual meeting.  I co-ordinate with the restaurant for the room and set up.  I love doing this.  Our theme this year is: Aprons, Let's tie one on.  All of the ladies will wear an apron.  There will be old ones, new ones, fancy, non-functional and childrens.  I made my apron out of men's old ties.  It is really cute.  Of course mine will be in the non functional, useless category.... lol

Enough for now.  I need to get "princess" ready for school.  We are running late and unless I prod and cajole we won't make the bus...

Have a fun funky day

Hi There,
If you are all in a praying mood. Please pray for me that I get this admissions job at the hospital. It is PRN (parttime) and I really want it. I interviewed for it at 8am this morning. So I was up at 6 to get ready. I curled my long hair!!!!! put on my face and dressed in less than an hour. Printed out my reseme and was out the door by 0705.
I wore my power Red suit I have. I hope that did the trick. I also prayed very hard after the interview. I have a strong feeling I will land one of the positions that are open. There are 5 of them. 4 PRN and 1 fulltime.
I am mailing out a thankyou note today.
Nothing new went on over the weekend. Just chillin.

  Hope that helps!

That's really a good touch to send the thank you card.  I'm sure you'll get one of the positions!
I feel it in my bones.

Well, I will forget the good morning and just say...good evening...and that reminds me of Alfred Hitch**** I don't know what happened to this day but it flew in and flew out all in one swoop!

I sent Bill to go get some milk and then I am fixing dinner for him...chicken and some heart healthy vegetables. All I have to do with them is stick them in the microwave and then it is let's eat! He told me on his way out the door to go to the store that he is hungry. I should have told him that I already know that one...he would eat 24 hours a day if he could.

Kayden wasn't feeling good today at all. He was hot and fussy..just ask Carla because she heard him..and then I finally went down the list with the meds and he got some Tylenol, Ambesol and gas drops. He had a nice and warm bottle and off to sleep he went. He slept for a couple of hours. He was feeling much better when he got up. I hate it when he gets to not feeling well and at the same time I feel sorry for myself because he has a darn good set of lungs on him let me tell ya!

I am just vegging tonight and watching television. Nothing much got done today either than take care of Kayden. I have to go to the church tomorrow to get the paperwork for Charge Conference done and then a few other errands to do. So I told DS to make sure he is warm since it is so cold here...and all over from the sounds of it.

I better go..I just wanted to stick my nose in and let you know that I am still alive. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers for everyone is being said. I will chat with you all tomorrow...earlier I hope...

that tells what kind of life you have lived.
