Good Sunday Morning-whats new?
Good Sunday morning to you all! It is nice to get on here and chat with my OFF family before getting ready for church this morning.
Debbie, there must be an epidemic of shingles going around. I have heard so many having them now. I am so glad that Bill hasn't gotten them...he has had them twice and I had them one time. It was strange but they were on my little finger and there was maybe 5 of them...I was lucky. One woman in my church had them for the first time and on top of that they need to get a new roof. So what does Melissa say....that it is just their luck that she has shingles but not the kind that they need on their roof. I know that I sure wasn't making jokes when I had them...even with the little that I had. It it so good to know that even if you are hurting humor is still there. I wish that I could be one like that when I am sick..sometimes I am just plain mean and grumpy! OH NO...make sure you don't all tell anyone that I can mean and grumpy....but make sure Bill is one that never ever finds that out...yeah right on that one!
This morning is church and I am lay speaker for the month. I have to find our Call to Worship and the Opening Prayer for each Sunday. I find the Call to Worships in the Book of Worship and then I just write my own Opening Prayers. That is a hobby of mine...I love to write prayers. I know...strange but then you are chatting with the girl that likes to read the phone book too. I like to read the names. Don't ask me why....it is what it is.
The weather here is cold and dismal. It isn't raining but it sure looks like it could at any given moment. I just don't want any more of that rain garbage..we have had our fair share of that. But then again..rain is better than snow so I will take the rain since it is the best of two evils!
I am going to wear a new outfit to church this morning. Well, it is new to me but I got it off FreeCycle and it is like new. This woman gave me a big bag of clothes that she wasn't going to use any more. Some fit me and others didn't and now I am wearing the ones that didn't. They are all high end clothes and a lot of them still had the tags on them. Oh boy...to have the money to buy those new...Wow! I haven't decided what one I am wearing so I have to decide that one when I go to put it on I guess. I am notorious for waiting to the last minute to figure out what I am wearing. I am bad about that...I should do better.
Misty is kind of eating her new food a bit. I noticed that she hasn't spit out the new stuff again so that is a good sign. She is getting use to getting on the bed and laying on the mattress...and that would be me of course...and getting her loving when she needs it. I lay and watch television and when her head gets in the way I tell her that I can't see through her and then I move my head and she gives me a dirty look...she wants things her way don't you know! Other than that she is just being herself...but that sure isn't a bad thing since she is so sweet. She is getting use to Kayden being here now and she comes out when he is here...and she even walks up to him and sniffs him too. I put a blanket on the floor sometimes and she goes up to him and looks at him...sometimes he notices her and others he doesn't. Especially when he is looking at something interesting...like his fist or something! I still can't figure out what is so interesting about some of the things he watches but then again I am past 5 months old so I have gone on to better things.
I guess I should get to moving. I have to start getting ready for church. I have already set out the meds for us for the week so that is done...that is the job that I can't stand. It use to be packing Bill's lunches for work...but we know that I have gotten a vacation from doing that for a while. tee hee! Gotta laugh at some things or you will cry.
I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone too. I forgot to check out about Linda S. but I am going to make a note to myself and that way I can remember that I have to do that. Leave it to me...the girl with no memory to say she is going to do something. Have a great day all and remember to scatter! So much comes back to you when you do that!

Good Sunday morning all. Hope everyone is fine.
Yesterday did not go quite as planned, but it was still good.
Started off at Family Day at Speed Zone. They gave us unlimited free game cards as we entered. They were good on all games and rides. It is like a Chuck E. Cheese for older kids. We went into the video arcade and found the Deal or No Deal game. We had a great time. The maximum you could win was 2000 tickets. The lowest was 1 ticket. I hit for 1050 right off the bat. Mary found another one right across from me and hit for 1000 on the second game she played. I hit another 1000 after a few games, and Mary hit for another 1000 plus a 2000. We played various other games, like Skee Ball. At 11:40 we ate lunch. Not bad. I like that they had the buns separate and everything wasn't pre-made. I ate some BBQ beef and BBQ chicken. After another hour of playing we cashed in our tickets. About 9000 of them. We ended up getting some Christmas shopping done with it.
Then to Church for our directory pictures. And of course they were trying to sell you pictures. And I have a wife, so of course we bought some. We got the $99 package. We ended up with 1 8x10, 2 sheets of 4x5's and 3 sheets of wallet size. (6 different poses. Two together and two each alone)
Then out to listen to my buddy's 70's band play. We got there and there were Salsa lessons going on. Not what we were looking for. The place double booked by mistake and our buddy was going on about 90 minutes late. Instead, we ate and left. Mary got some much needed sleep. I played on the computer.
Well, gotta get going to Church. See you all tonight.

Good morning OFF
Cold start to our day here in Michigan but a beautiful sunrise. It will warm up for a few days yet.
Nothing exciting here today church some laundry hubby wants some help mowing which I enjoy with the rider.
I have decided that I do have a blessed life. I read about all the problems folks deal with here and I know God has been good to us. We do have our problems but they seem small compared to what some of you are dealing with.
Please know that even though I have never met any of you folk> I feel l am getting to know you through this forum and I do pray daily for each of you.

I tried a new church lastnight. It's pretty much brand new, and high tech. Has screens, so if you can't see the speaker, they're projected on the screens and also the words to songs are projected up there too. The band was really good as were the worship singers. The message was good and should have hit home for everyone. That's what I'm looking for in my new church, so I just may have found it. I'll probably check out a couple more tho.
I've been having numbness in my left hand. The baby and ring finger and up along those tendons to my wrist are numb. I have rotator cuff problems with that shoulder and think that maybe that's causing the numbness? I go see my bariatric surgeon on the 21st so I may ask him what he thinks. Not that he's going to know anything. I see my pcp in November, so if it's still numb then I'll have him check it out. I try to shake it out, but it doesn't work.
Today is bill paying day. This kitchen table is a mess with all the papers on it. Time to get reorganized again. I've also got to do my pills for the next two weeks. It's much easier to put them in those little plastic things than to open all of the bottles every morning.
Didn't get the dogs out for their walk yesterday because of the snow and rain. They're already bugging me to go, so I guess I'll get dressed and get moving.
