Update on Joyce Stewart

Talked to Joyce Stewart awhile ago. She is doing OK, although a little out of it. Also got an e-mail from John, who said she was out of recovery by 11:45 a.m. and into her room (610) at Cape Cod Hospital. Her phone number is 774-552-6850. She said she'd welcome phone calls but not until tomorrow because she's kind of loopy (my words) right now. She's enjoying the good drugs. If it goes anything like my knee replacement surgery, she'll spend about three days at the hospital. Then she said they're moving her to a rehab hospital for about a week (I went home, but my condo is all one floor ... every doctor/hospital handles things differently).

Anyway, just want to update everyone that she's out of surgery and on her way to recovery.

Thanks. I am glad she is okay. Knee surgery seems to be extremely painful but eventually a good thing.

Hope it works better for her than it has for me. I think it works better for everyone else than for me. I just got the bum knee parts.
