It's 3:20AM here, Do you know where your OFF Family is? What's new?

Hi George and my OFF family:

Boy, it took awhile for the "reply" to load this afternoon ... and then when I put in the larger type, it didn't take at first ... had to do it a second type.

It was pouring early this morning when I left work and rained most of the morning while I sat up watching the Thursday shows I had DVR'd. I wasn't sleepy enough to go to bed, plus my tummy had a lot of achies and gas ... had to resort to peppermint tea last night to calm it down before I could go to bed. It helped it. It's still gloomy and windy this afternoon and looks like more rain. It's 65, or so my Weather Channel bug says.

Nothing much going on here ... I just got up and really didn't want to get out of bed. Coulda slept another hour or two but since I have to get to work at 5 p.m., I thought I'd better get going.

I have no plans for Halloween other than to work, as usual. I have a couple of cute Halloween shirts, so I'll wear one of those. The first year I was in the condo that I was off for Halloween, I bought candy for trick-or-treaters, but none came, so I ate all the candy myself (this was before WLS). I'm sure it's against condo policy to trick or treat ... and there's not a lot of kids in the complex (probably against condo policy). My neighbors have grandkids ... anyway, I won't be home.

Well, have a good day ... seems like everyone is trying to keep their heads above water.

Wasn't it great to have new shows again after ten days of reruns?

There is a new show on FX, The League, about 5 guys in a fantasy football league.  Very funny, but very male humor.  Mary did laugh all through it.

Seems ABC is showing new shows, but CBS and NBC are airing reruns.

I really like FlashForward, Mercy and The Good Wife of the new shows. Glad "Medium" is still on, even though is a different channel. Miss "ER" a lot.

Hi George and all you OH'ers!

I haven't done much today.  It was a me day.  I washed a little clothes and spent some time reading the web.  It was warmer here today but cloudy and windy.  It is suppose to rain here later.

I told my husband to stop and get  a bag of reese peanut butter cups and said it was for trick or treaters.  We don't get any and he told me that.  WHen he came home I laughed, took them and said Happy Halloween..lol.  I wish I could have one, they look so tempting.  I didn't want to go look at candy.  I might buy something I really like, oh boy then I would be in trouble.

I treated myself to a small cappoccino. Pumpkin spice.  I know, I know.  I shouldn't have one but I kept it down ok and had no problems.  That is either a good sign or a bad one.  Don't know which.  Has anyone tried a cappaccino?   I know it is a no no.

Well other than that, I have no news.  My dogs were pests today.  I have five of them.

I hope everyone is well and praying for all of you who are in a stressful situation.

People say you can't have this and you can't have that.  My doc says, eat and drink what your body tolerates.   Moderation is the key with some stuff.

I wish my dog was a pest again.  He just mopes around now since the other dog died.  But we are making progress each day.

Have to agree with George. Moderation is the key. You said it was a small. That's important. In the past you probably would have had an extra large.

I have had cappucinos or lattes, but I stick with nonfat, sugar-free stuff if at all possible. I don't have them often (they cost too much); I prefer just to have coffee with SF syrup. But sometimes you've got to treat yourself.

My doc never said no to anything, just do it in moderation (small portions). If your body will tolerate it, have a taste, but not the whole piece.

Good evening everyone. I am running late but late beats what sometimes happens around here....I don't get here at all.

I have ran most of the day. Gone to the church to finish the paper work for charge conference and then helped with a few other things. There was a big problem that I got hit with first thing when I walked in...got it kind of bandaged for now and then later on we will get together and I will become a moderator between Pastor and the office manager.

It has done nothing but rain today. It poured most of the day....we have so much standing water everywhere. It has no where else to go the ground is so saturated with what we have had. But it beats the evil "W" word...and we all know what that is!!!!

We haven't had Kayden and won't have him until Wednesday. I miss him so much but Bill is glad since he doesn't like the crying or screaming when he doesn't get what he wants...I often ask him what he did when Shawn was little.

I guess I should get going. I have to clean the kitchen from dinner...how at times like this I wish I was rich enough for a maid....but I have to dream on!
Have a good rest of the day and  I should be on here in the morning. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
