Hope you didn't set your clocks ahead, Carla .......Fall back, remember.

Anyhoo, it was a long nite and I'm up early .....showered and ready to have some breakfast in a few, then off to church and Bible class.

Saw my BIL yesterday and couldn't believe how awful he looks.....he is literally skin and bones.....bet he doesn't weigh 100 lbs.   He is so ready to go to heaven and begged me to pray for the Lord to take him home.
Their daughter was to get there sometime very early this morning....they were driving up from San Antonio and my BIL is hanging on to see her and the two grand daughters.  The good news out of this is that my niece is pregnant and it's a boy FINALLY.  I hope they give him one of his names from her Dad.   So I am expecting my sis to call in the next few days that BIL has passed.

It's been a sad week for me, but I will get through it all.

Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday,

Pat r.

Pat,

I'm sorry about your BIL.  Watching our love ones fail is not an easy thing, but as my mom would say "we all have to make this journey" I hope he doesn't suffer any longer.  You and your family will be in my prayers.

Blessings,

Debbie

Pat; i'm sure this is hard to watch your BIL and i know you need to comfort your sister...prayers being said here for God's will to be done. and a hug for you!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

My dear Pat, I just wanted to let you know that you and your family remain in my prayers. It is so hard having to deal with things like this.

Sending you love and gentle hugs from Bill and I to you....

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning everyone,

Halloween, no kids again.  I wish I did get a few.  I slept well last night but up early this morning.  There was a real chill in the house.  Hubby is making a fire in the wood burner to take the chill off of the house.

Today, I am going to my in laws to help package 100 lbs of homemade sausage they get from a German club.  They give some to us and their other son.  Actually no one cares for it but me and I have to cook it certain ways to disguise the strong flavor.   I don't know what is in it but it does taste strong.  We take it because they think we love it and they are so proud it came from their club. lol.. Oh well.. at least it is somethjing to eat on one of those poor days when there is nothing in the house.

Other than that, nothing is really new.  I wish there was something I could tell but what can I say I live a boring life.  I guess good news is better than bad news. Right?

Take care everyone and have a happy day

Good morning Carla & all. I am watching a beautiful sunrise. With the pines gone I can see al of it. I hope that means a sunny day today. We took the quads out yesterday to see what it's like with some of the trees gone. I keep getting stuck in the mud. I sure hope the rain is done for a few days.

Linus is finally back to normal. We were so worried. Today is bath day for all 3 of them. And maybe a trim. Tuesday a doctors appt. to make sure no more kidney stones. I feel good so I'm sure there are none. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!
