I am going to ask my doctor about it. I am just miserable. I guess it will take time to get out of my s\ystem.

Mary,
All I can say is YUCK.... having the flu symptoms would be just as bad as being depressed... for me anyway.
I had been on two anti depressants at one time to help me. I know it is not easy but I had to. I'm down to just one daily now. I went through my own personal H*** before getting my meds adjusted to where I could tolerate any side effects.
Hang in there gal, it will get better...

Mary sorry to hear that your medication that is supposed to help you feel better is making you physically ill. I certainly hope that you get something that helps and know there are many who take antidepressants on here, so I'm sure you will get some suggestions on what works for them!
Best wishes for you to feel better, Hugs, Laureen

Morning all. Hope your day today is good and you can enjoy at least some of it.
Laureen, your new bed sounds like heaven. I can just picture it with the steps and all. I had to laugh when you were talking about Dillinger getting into bed though. He knows just what to do to get Momma to do what he wants. I sure can't say anything though...I never had a dog or cat that didn't do the same thing. I am so glad that Dillinger is doing well. I know it is all the love and good care that you are giving to him.
Your daughter is lucky to have such a great and wise mom too. I send my congratulations to her for getting into the class. I send them to you too since you have done things right...maybe there was some not so good times but in the end they all turned out well so you much have done something right!
I didn't go to church this morning since I have been up most of the night with the coughing. I wish that I could take my cough syrup more but every 12 hours is it. I helps for a few hours and then the coughing starts up again and just keeps getting worse and worse until it is time to take another dose of it. But I must say that the antibiotic seems to be helping since I am feeling somewhat better. My chest isn't hurting near as bad now so that is why I figure it is working.
I have Charge Conference this afternoon. I hate those. These are the big yearly meetings of the church. We have so much paperwork to do for it and then it is gone over with the District Superintendent. We meet now with several others churches since they are combining them together to make one large district. They aren't as personal now but at least they get done and we get to meet with other churches too that normally wouldn't happen. So there is nice things out of icky stuff after all.
I guess I should get going. I am getting hungry and should fix something for breakfast. I think I might have some oatmeal with sunflower seeds in it. I love that and it adds protein too. I love crunchy food...I guess it takes my hostility out while chewing. ha ha
I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers and good thoughts are going up for everyone too. Hold fast to family and friends and nothing is impossible to get through.
Have a great day and know that a lot of people love you!

Hi and Best Wishes to all of you this beautiful Sunday morning.
I just finished dressing and getting ready to head out the door for church in a few minutes. It is my 67th Birthday today and I am feeling great. Hubby took me out for a nice dinner last evening and has allowed me to buy a much needed new winter coat. Out church had it's annual Fall Bazaar yesterday that we attended, which was fun. I had rolled lefse for 4 straight hours two days before in preparation for this big event. It wa alot of fun and am anxious to find out this morning how much $$$ the church took it. Blessings to all and wishes for a great Sunday and all of next week as well.
Love & Hugs,
Sandy

Happy Birthday, Sandy. Hope you have a lovely day!
Been to church and then out to WalMart for a few things. We did well at the Sauerkraut Supper Friday evening -- we served around 180 people. People always say "see you next year" when they leave!
Today is a day to relax and regroup for the coming week. Work tomorrow, make a pumpkin dessert for the senior luncheon on Tuesday, then attend the luncheon. We will have a huge funeral this week for a gentlemen who was a pillar in our church....so there will be a big luncheon to get ready after the service. The family are not "sandwich" eaters, so we will need to probably have ham and scalloped potatoes along with salads and desserts. Lots of calls to make for food donations.
Today is the first day of firearm deer hunting here in Michigan. It's in the high 40's and rainy -- glad I'm not sitting out in the woods!
DS and DIL are in Mexico near Cancun on vacation.....it's in the 80's down there....
Have a blessed Sunday - thoughts and prayers for each and everyone of my OFF family.
