Good morning, ya'll.
It's Tuesday and nothing is planned for today. Well, except picking my grandson up from school at 2:15. He takes the test to get his license on Friday. I'm sure he will pass. Then he will be driving himself. I KNOW he'll still be stopping here after school for his snack. His brother still stops for food between his college classes. And with boys that size, snacks are NOT a couple cookies and milk. Their snacks (per child) are usually one of the following: 1) a can of tomato soup and 3 grilled cheese sandwiches, 2) 2 tuna melt sandwiches and chicken noodle soup, 3) sausage, eggs, hash browns, 4) pancakes, 5) french toast, 6) a box of velveeta mac and cheese. Sometimes they bring a friend. I am so grateful that I still have the energy to feed them all. I hope that lasts!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!
I want to say a quick good morning. I slept in this morning until almost 7 a.m., so I'm running late. Showered and dressed, now I'm getting ready to begin work. Nothing much new here, but the sun is shining brightly today - woo hoo!
Have a great day everyone!

I slept in a little too, got up at 7 and had to take my son to work. I have to drive him because he got a DUI and I am still upset with that. So, he can't drive until January and it will cost him 485.oo for reinstatement of his license. I am tired of driving him to work and his school. He is 28 and I am getting too old for this kind of problem. lol
He drove the car because his buddy was way to drunk to drive. They hit blac**** and skidded in a ditch and flipped the car. Lucky they were not killed. You should have seen the car. Oh well.. He has learned a lesson at least.
My daughter's job cut her back to three days a week. I guess that is not a good sign.
I am feeling a little better but still having problems with my respiratory system. Don't know what that is.
I am disappointed about my weight. I just can't seem to move that scale. No matter what I do. I have about 50lbs to lose. Maybe that is why. It just doesn't want me to hit goal and loves the chubby person I am..lol
I hope all is well with everyone. Sounds like so many of you are so busy and some are having problems. I hope you get to stop and enjoy your day a little. Prayes for all.

I have not deviated too much from the regular foods I eat daily. Perhaps that is the problem. I also need to start writing down what I eat. I know I eat less than I should. That is why I don't understand the no weight loss. I have been told it is because I am older, and hormones and because I am considered a light weight now. I do have to get more excercise but not feeling well has stopped me from doing anything. When you are having a hard time breathing, it is not easy. I don't drink with meals and keep the recomendation about the 30 min after and my doctor said 15 min before.
I just think I don't feel well and that is why I am complaining..lol Plus we probably have to put our dog down. It is depressing to watch him fail in his health. It is time to make that decision. He has lung cancer.
Well, thanks and sorry my response was so down..lol
I appreciate your help and concern

Sounds like you are doing everything right with your eating. Sometime our bodies make the decision when we lose enough weight.
I also have COPD and asthma...I can really relate with the breathing difficulties...hope you get some relief soon.

Sorry to hear you have lung problems. It is hard to breathe when you get a cold or something.
You are also very encouraging and I look forward to your insights.
I am going to start belly dancing. I bought a video. That should shake things up!
Thanks again

You've hit a stall, which is common enough, shake things up, by looking at what you are eating and change things up, add a different exercise routine. Our bodies need to be tricked at times and at 4 months out, you are far from over and have done great, however, when people told me similar things, it did not change how disappointed I felt, just letting you know this wacky WLS journey is different, yet similar for all of us.
Have a great day!
