I'M HOME....
well after having a nice few days with my mom here in ohio and then her feet swelling up and hurting she wanted to go home....it hurt her to walk so i told her we would go back to michigan on friday. well friday morning came and she couldn't walk hardly at all without crying out in pain!! so we hurried and packed the car and got her in it and drove her home. (she wouldn't let me take her to the ER here in ohio) so we got her home and in the house and then we left after she refused to go to ER. we got our motel room and then went to eat. saturday morning mom called and asked us to dinner that my brother was cooking. told her we were going to do some shopping then be there. well we shopped then went to moms for dinner...sat around and talked and she was saying how her feet were really hurting her again and maybe my sister would take her monday to ER...i told her hell no!!! she was going NOW!!!! so i got her to the car and to the ER and she got in right away...was lucky there!!! anyhow they took blood, xrays of her feet and also did an ultra sound. finally got word that she has an infection her her feet and needed to be kept there and an iv antibiotic given. they gave her delouded (sp) for pain...worked pretty fast through the iv...didn't last long at all though. so they were going to give her morphine every 2 hours for the pain. well dr told me that they were keeping her and told me it would be about 2 hours if not longer for her to get a room and for me to go. (i was shivering it was so dam cold in ER!!!!) i didn't want to leave her but she insisted....so off i went to pick u***** and bandit at my moms house where i left them. (hospital was only letting the sick person in and ONE other person and no kids so i did right by leaving him at moms) went to get food and back to motel. yes i called my sister and both brothers and let them know what was going on with mom...bonnie had dialasis through her arm for the first time and was told to be very careful so the artery didn't rupture....so she couldn't drive...brother bill has a cold so he couldn't come to hospital....brother joe was tired from looking for a Christmas tree all day....soooooo that left ME as usual to take care of mom!!!! i didn't mind doing this for her but it sure as hell ****** me off that they can't do one dam thing for her when she is sick!!!!!!!!!!! we stopped to see her before we left this morning to come bcak to ohio...she was still in pain but doing ok....brother joe showed up that was good....he stayed long time with her after we left. he orderded her some lunch and sat with her while she ate. dr came in to see her while he was there...said her infection came from her toenail fungus!!!!!!!! so a foot dr will be seeing her tomorrow and she might have her nails cut out???? so looks like she will be there for a few days if that happens. i told joe to call me if he finds out anything more. i have the pin number so i can call to see how she is doing also. she also has a fever. 101.8 hopefully it comes down soon. i called mom when we got back to ohio to let her know we made it safe. she said bonnie was supposed to come up and see her but she had to take a nap and well you guessed it...she never showed up!!!! her grandkids came up to see her she said...that is nice. she aske me why i told bonnie that she had pneumonia?? huh???? i never said that at all!!!! gezzzzzz snyhow i am at my wits end here with worry over mom...i know she is in good hands at the hospital but my siblings....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they just **** me off BIG time!!!!!!!!!
couldn't see phyllis while i was back home either...she is sick and her dr told her to stay away from people!!! she may be contagious!!! she had a chest xray done and dr called to say he wanted to see her monday morning and til then stay away from people!!! i hope she doesn't have H1N1!!!! she has been sick for 3 weeks now and not getting better!!!!
so other than that my visit with mom here was great!!! hated to see her have to go home so soon!!! then she ends up in hospital and i had to get back to ohio!!!! i am worried sick over her and pray that she will be ok soon!!! she is 88 and i dread the time when she is no longer with me.....
had the work Christmas party tonight...i don't think i will go next year...its that bad!!! food was crappy and it seems like the same people win the prizes....infact one ticket was pulled and the boss said he couldn't read it so he drew another ticket!!!!!!! now how fair is that??????????? the tickets had numbers on them so why didn't he read off the number???????? something stinks and it sure isn't me!!!!!!!!!
well i am off to shower and go to bed...its been a long LONG weekend!!!!!!

yesterday when i stopped by my sisters to say bye to her...(like i really saw her while we were there in michigan....long story) she made a comment that it was good that i was there because mom loves me the most....grrrrrrrr
yeah mom misses me because it is ALWAYS me that makes her go for help when she is sick the others just don't make her go...she says no and they leave it at that...sighs makes me so upset!!!

JeanBHAHAHA jean!!! i have sooo much excitement in my life its not funny any more!!! i am worrying myself sick over mom and my sister is really ******g me off big time!!!!! she still hasn't gone to see mom in the hospital!!! all she is doing is sleeping and playing on her pc!!!!! my older brother now has walking pneumonia so he has to stay home...my other brother is working 12 hours a day 7 days a week and he finds time to go see her!!!!
i am sure she is happier being closer to home in hospital too but she is so far away from me its making me sick with worry!!!! i know she is being taken care of so thats good....
