It's Tuesday and time for the What''s New Revue
Got up at 6:30 a little later than usual. But that is ok. I am a little tired but my coffee sure tastes good this morning.
I started to take tylenol flu and cold cough syrup. Only half the dose every four hours. I think it is helping.
My daughter is home from work today, going to ask her to help me decorate.
George Can I buy a coffee maker for a dollar too? That would be a real bargain. Since you are playing Santa. lol
The weather is cold here this morning. There is either a light frost or it is a little snow on the ground. We usually put plastic on the windows but we haven't got to the bedrooms yet. I hear it is suppose to get colder by Wed or Thurs and much more snow. Not looking forward to the snow and cold.
I like it warm. Would move to Florida if I could.
Margo, sorry about your cat. It seems a lot of us have had to put down animals these last few months. So sad. They are our friends. It is hard to let go.
Are you already packed and ready to move? Waiting until after the holidays?
If you said it I missed it. Or don't remember.
Well everyone.... have a great day and prayers for all of us. We sure seem to need them.
Mary

I know I was afraid to take anything. But the cold was so bad and the coughing horrible I had to take something. I took the tylenol flu cold medicine but only half the dose they said and I did fine with it. I think not taking the whole dose was good.
I am also unsure of what we can take and not take.
Thanks for writing..

Hey all,
Yesterday, went to the doctor and am up fifteen pounds. He was pleased. No change in the night tube feedings but he said for me to try eating some soft food. So, last night, I had about an eighth a cup of creamed potatoes and woke up this morning with extreme pain in my side. I guess I won't try that again. It may have been the cream in the creamed potatoes. I don't know. Anyway, I am going to have the revision like surgery after Christmas. Hopefully, the tube will come out and I can go back to eating normally.

Good to hear from you Jeannie and that you are gaining some weight so you can have your surgery. That food that you get thru the feeding tube must be really rich in nutrients.....I would agree that the cream in the potatoes probably set off the pain.....maybe try some pudding made with skim milk. Can you have anything with sugar in it?
Wishing you all the best.
