If this is Tuesday, it must be OFF - What's new with you?
Good afternoon George and OFF,
I'm late getting on today. I started work right away this morning, stopped to practice my piano lesson, now I'm getting ready to get back to work.
Not too much happening around here. I'm trying not to get too stressed out about Christmas, but it's next week already - YIKES -- I'd better get my butt in gear.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Debbie
Hi George and all my OFF friends,
I am late every day. I'm not even sure anyone gets back on to see what I write but it feels good anyway.
Everyone be careful out there. This winter weather is causing quite a few accidents in our area. The weatherman says our temperatures will drop 30 degrees tonight. That will put us at 10*. Brrrr. If anyone remembers I live at the top of a large hill/mountain. I have one of those electronic packages in my car that tells the temps outside. I can watch the temp. drop while I'm driving home. When it rains in the valley, it snows at my house. The 56 car pile-up that I almost ended up in made national news on GMA weather. We are going to bringing some wood in for a fire tonight.
Tonight I start making the puppet theatre for the Grandkids. I've got all kinds of ideas in my head. I just have to sketch them out before I start sewing. I found some cute finger puppets at the craft barn at a local Christmas Tree farm. They are crocheted Sesame St. characters. I thought these might be more Sadie, the two year olds, speed. We got dinosaur and animal hand puppets for the boys.
I've got so many good things in my life, but still, I'm in a funk and not particularly happy. Is that depression? I've never talked to a psychologist, even after my sister's murder. I'm wondering if I should look into it. Do those of you who have, think you got what you needed from it?
I need to get back to work so I can keep my good job at least. My thoughts are with all of you while you try to find jobs, take care of aging parents, deal with depression, miss loved ones and have health issues. May your holidays be blessed.

I've been wondering about Brenda too. And Darlene said she would be joining us more often too.

bev..i'm not a pill pusher..however; it couldn't hurt to talk to your doctor-your pcp can prescribe--even alow dose maymake some difference....it's not horrid to say we need help!!!!
the puppets sound fun!!!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thank you to both you and Mary for the very nice card I received to. What an act of love to do so many handmade cards.
Due to my surgery I have even gotten 1 card out.
Thanks for thinking of me.
