Good morning, what's new with you?
Ohhhh what a day today will be....... the traditional holiday preparations.
Baking,,,,, nuts to be spiced, a small cake to make, dinner and oh yes the small batch of fudge.
Shopping to be done.... two last minute gifts to get... no, wait three.....
Sewing,,, yup, I've been wandering around town with threads hanging off me.... one last apron to finish
Mom, bless her heart, dragged her feet getting cards out this year. ALL went out late and now she is worrying that they won't get to several people on time... sigh.... it's hard to nag your mom when you see her procrastinating.
Cards,,,,, mine will have to go out via emails now.... which is fine. there are some really cute ones available.
Let's see... have I forgotten anything? Oh yes, I'm sure I have... just can't remember ...hmmm

Now that my holiday routine is as normal.... late, last minute and frenzied... I Hope all of you have a great season no matter what you do, where you go or whom you are with.....

Football game at Christmas sounds like fun. Last year at Christmas, I was in the hospital after my knee replacement revision ... now wasn't that fun? Not! Especially since my knee really isn't that much better.
It was sunny when I got up but it's clouded up already. Typical West Michigan winter day ... the sun wakes me up (or the phones rings) and then it glooms up when I get up. I tried a new protein mix I got from Bariatric Eating today ... Cinnamon Cappucino. I mixed it with a little milk, then poured in my coffee. Oh yum, that was very good. Their recipe said to use nondairy creamer, but I didn't have any of that, so I just used the milk. I think I could drink that all day. It wasn't lumpy or anything. I will have to get more of that or try different flavors. They also have caramel latte, and that sounded good.
I don't go into work tonight til 8:30 p.m., then tomorrow I have to be in at 11:30 a.m. because we have early deadlines on Christmas Eve. So it's going to be a short night. Nothing spectacular for me, I'm just working all week. I spent part of this morning uploading photos from my family Christmas party ... I'll try to get them on my profile later today. Ben and Sam (grandnephews) are so cute ... especially Sam, the 5-year-old ... I have to say he's my favorite. I know I shouldn't have favorites, but he's such a character.
Well, not much else going on here. Just got my second cup of coffee (actually third, if you count the protein coffee). Have a good day. Stay warm.

I got up around 9am and went to watch lily for a litle while. We played and watched ET for about 3 times not really!!!!!
Today we are going over to see our cousins for dinner around 6. I guess some cousins I havent seen in a very long time are down here for a visit. I thought I new everyone....
It is gloomy here and the sun isnt out so I cant go out and shovel sun!!!!!

Good morning Carla and everyone.....
I started posting this a while ago...then the whole thing disappeared....there are strange things happening on this OH site and I wish they would fix it!!
I worked most of the day. I finally got a different work computer so that is up and running now. I had to do a lot to get things where I wanted them again....glad that is done!
My TV went out....just great...no money at this time of year to get a new one. Gave all my money to my kids and grandkids....oh well they need it more then I need a new TV. I will drag the old smaller one out from the bedroom for now.
