Lessee... wasssuuup.....

Couldn't use the shop this weekend... too cold to apply any kind of finish to wood... I am going to buy some more kerosene for the heater but it sure does stink when it runs... better than freezing out there though!

Today is the first day of Weigh****chers for me at my job... should be ok though, since I will be busy and all that I eat is whatever I bring with me... so I packed my lunch bag with the right stuff and will be headed out shortly...

Another pretty big test will be for me to get myself to the gym... I have the late shift today, and don't get off wor****il 6pm... gotta work early the next day so need to be in bed no later than about 9 or so... so gotta get home, change, get to the gym, get back home, clean up, have dinner... sheesh... I guess I better take my workout clothes with me and just go directly to the gym!

Hope everyone has a great day...

I'd have to go to the gym right from work.  If I didn't I'd never get there.

Oh, yeah, that's right, I never do...  I give you a lot of credit for your determination.  I hope you're able to get back on track.

Marc,

Sounds like a recipe for success. . .  I got back to the gym and eating right today too!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Hi Candy and everyone else.  Good morning!

Well it was around 15 degrees yesterday and colder this morning.  We had snow all day on Sat.  We got about 5 inches and it blowed back on the streets out here right after the plow truck went by.  Which is not very often.   I have a fear of going in the ditch. Some of them are very deep.  Since we have been out here about 15 years I have slid into the ditch twice.  Pretty scary.

We are suppose to get snow again today.  If it snows too much I won't go to art class tonight.  Not safe on these country back roads at night.  NO ONE WILL FIND YOU..lol

I hate the cold too.  I told my husband when he retires we are moving south.  I don't care where as long as it is warm.  I hate winter.

Started another afghan.  It keeps my fingers busy and it keeps me from snacking.
My weight loss is slow anyway.  I think I have about 48 lbs to MY goal.  I don't know what the doctor wants me to get down to.  Have to ask.

I am glad I don't have to take my son to work today.  It is too cold and my heater in my car takes forever to warm up.  I don't know why.  I hope there is nothing wrong with it.

The new cat stays either in the garage for a little bit or in my son's room.  I am not sure I am crazy about this cat.   He is really friendly but disrupts my other animals.

Well....  Got to go and get more coffee...  I am a zombie with out it.

Have a good day and smile today

Good morning, ya'll.

It's a COLD Monday morning here, too.  All week, lows will be high teens, highs will be freezing if we are lucky.  I grew up in NY state and remember very cold snowy winters.  My Sissy still lives up there.  Silly girl!

I head back to Greenville this morning for another 5 days of radiation.  Still no side effects.  The only one I want is the 'loss of appetite'.  The doc said I wouldn't entirely lose my hair but it would get thinner.  THAT is happeneing.  I leave a lot of hair on the shower drain every morning.

Our daughter is coming back next week to stay with me, although I don't feel I need anyone.  Our son deploys that week, also, so maybe she wants to see him before he goes.  I've lost count of the number of times he has been over there.  But after 26 years as a Marine, you can pretty much figure if there was a conflict somewhere in the world he was there.  I don't mean causing it!

I hope everyone stays happy, healthy and safe.

Have a fantabulous day!

The hair will come back.  My son went through chemo last year and lost all of his, and he said it was a small price to pay for a good prognosis. It all grew back within months of completing the treatment.

Just try to keep your head warm with pretty hats and scarves till it does.

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time in your life.

Grammylew: both my cousin and a friend that went thru chemo, had their hair come back in "curly".....and they didn't have curly hair before.   Could you be so lucky?   Thinking of you and wishing you all the best!

Curly would be good.  I'd save a lot of money on permanents every year!
