What's new Sunday, friends?
Hi Everyone!
I hope no one is posting this the same time I am..lol Anyway nothing new with me. Just getting over some flu bug and didn't lose a pound. Go figure.
It is bitter cold here. I want to climb back into bed. My son and his girlfriend didn't go shopping for me yesterday because she was sick too!
Guess I have to muster up the energy to do it today. There is nothing, and I mean nothing in the house to eat. That to me is a good thing..

we have two threads going so im replying to both.
the cold is awful all over the country. i wish i could stay home today but
im meeting my sister later at moms place as we continue to clean it out.
we are almost done, not a fun job.

Good morning, ya'll.
It has gotten to a balmy 29 degrees already this AM.
Our daughter got in last night from OR. She is in the shower, our DIL texted to say she is also in the shower and don't anyone head to Starbucks without her!
Not sure if I want to go out to Starbucks this morning. But I DO need to fill up the gas tank and get lottery tickets. Gas is back up to $1.68 a gallon. What did I miss in the news this week about why this has gone up $.13 in the last week!

h Grammylew.......You are SO LUCKY to have gasoline prices at $1.68 a gallon! Would you believe it is $3.78 here on Maui. No one can tell us why when gasoline went down from $150 a barrel to $65 or something like that and our prices never went down!! Almost $4.00 a gallon just like during gasoline crisis.....sigh.

Doesn't it figure there was someone else posting at the same time Mary? I answered Marcy's and now yours.
Still very cold here too. Yesterday when I posted I said it was 26*. Well, I misread the thermometer. It never even reached 26 as the high yesterday. Must have just been 6*. My son sent me a picture of his truck thermometer yesterday and it read -6, that's negative 6. Much too cold.
I've actually been doing pretty well keeping warm these days. I wear my cuddle-duds and my slippers and I'm fine.
