Laureen,

I'm making your crock pot stuffed cabbage recipe.  I have it in the crock pot cooking now - yum, I can't wait to taste it.  I figured I would not add the rice and make it as a side dish for DH, and have couscous as my side.  I'll let you know how it turns out.  Thanks for posting the recipe!

Let me know how that comes out, but seeing as I use brown rice, which is a "good" carb, not to mention there is really so little of it in the recipe, that it does not amount to much per serving, I like it in there. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

I made it last Saturday and I did use the brown rice -- there really isn't that much rice and besides it is a good carb full of fiber.   I loved it and still have a couple servings in the refrigerator, plus I put two containers in the freezer for later.   It's delish and it makes a LOT!

I didn't have brown rice or instant rice, I only had white rice, the kind you cook.  Do you think I should cook the white rice and put it in?  I can't wait to try it.

No, don't bother Rosie, it should be fine, though it might be kind of soupy without the rice to absorb all the liquid. . .  just as an fyi, the recipe calls for "instant rice" and I always use the Success brown rice (I open one bag and empty it in the mix), but as I said, I'm sure the taste will be the same. . .  let me know how you like it and I'm with you on that crustless pizza, I bought a boat load of spinach at Produce Junction (it being one of my favorite veggies anyway) and intend to make a batch up tonight, as it is my night off from the gym ;)
