I ain't done it in a while - SO, What's New Revue with you!!(Thursday)
Sandy, that is wonderful and I must say, it is amazing how different we all are, I so want to get to the size 8 or 10 I had in my mind at about 6 months post-op (I am a 12 which is a far cry from a tight 22/24) and lately, it seems the scale does not move downward and is stuck at a number I just don't get, I mean I get that I put on pounds because I was making some choices that were not exactly the way I should eat and not having gone to the gym for over 2 months, it was bound to show up, but with all the physcial activity I've added the last 3 weeks, going to the gym 4 to 5 times a week for an hour at a time, oh well it is what it is and I am truly happy that you have done so well and yes the maintenance part is a challenge, as some people have a hard time adding in calories, but you've done an amazing job and will find your way.
Congrats again!

Good morning George et al,
I'm getting a late start today, slept in unitl a little after 7:00, which is so unusual for me, but it felt good. I know how painful the shoulder situation can be. Had rotator cuff surgery in '96, but thankfully, no trouble since. So, jump through the hoops and hopefully they'll get you fixed up soon.
Yesterday was a nightmare. The girl who does my nails canceled my 8:30 appointment, so I had time to sit around with a second cuppa. When I noticed I had sat a little too long, I grabbed my cell phone in one hand, and tried to pick up my coffe cup at the same time. Guess where the phone went??? Yup, right into the cup! We immediately took it apart to dry it out. Gary worked on it while I got ready for work. He even helped get my food together, which made me very nervous.
So, I go to Best Buy and they said as soon as it was completly dried out they could give me a loner and send it off to see if it could be repaired. Well folks, this is the new Android phone, all info is on the phone, not a SIM card, so all of my client contacts are lost, as well as my personal contacts. I had to send it off and not try to rehab it by putting it in rice or kitty litter for a few days. Bottom line? The insurance doesn't cover moisture, so if they can't fix it, it will take the full retail price ($600) to replace it. I was told the store managers will negotiate a lower price for you.
So, I was completly rattled, couldn't recieve calls from clients, couldn't call Gary, and my whole day of eating was off. Then, I was so distracted when I packed up all my food to take, I left my dinner on the dining room table! By the time I went back to BB to turn in my phone, I didn't get home until 8:30 and ended up having a PB&J for dinner. Then, to make matters worse, I had some sort of gas attack and was totally miserable.
Today will be a better one, PLEASE!
Okay, rattled on long enough. Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. I'm off, so it's bound to be better!

Oh Susan,
I so know what you are going through with your phone, as I went through the phone thing at Christmas, 2x in one week. First time it fell in the toilet, lucky for me there was nothing bu****er in there (lol). . . since I carry the BestBuy Insurance Plan, after I waited a day to see if it would dry out, which it did, but the speaker for talking was not working, I brought it in to them and they just had me pick out a brand new phone, no questions asked, did not matter that it was damaged by water, that was great. Well then, 3 days later, it was raining really bad and I was on my way into a friend's house with some food and stuff, did not have my purse, so I throw the new phone in a plastic bag, that I had a few items in, figured it's a good way to keep the phone dry running from the parking lot to my friend's door, go to pick up the bag and it feels funny, so I look inside to see what is going on, well the sport bottle of water I carry, the one that has the push top, you may have guessed it, the whole bottle, was in the bag, that phone was totally toast, as it had been totally submerged for like 2 minutes.
Went back to BB (embarassed as all hell) and they said, well you get one total replacement per year, so this one we have to send out to see if they can repair it, they activated an old phone I kept, as I always keep one as a back-up, and 3 days later they called to tell me to come in and pick out a new phone. Replacing the phone numbers can be a pain, however, at least I was only out the cost of the plan that I was paying $7.99 per month for, whereas the one I used to have with the provider, was one of those that had all these clauses and cost pretty much the same. . .
Wondering if you can get your cell phone provider to give you a listing of all the numbers you have made/received calls from over the last whatever period of time you need it for and maybe piece together the numbers from that. . . I know my provider has call details and so I can go over my past bills, it is a pain in the neck, but I can get some of the numbers that I otherwise lost. . . anyway, remember the days of old. . .

Hi George and all my OFF friends,
Sorry to hear about your shoulder hurting. 15 years ago I tried to hold the door open with my left arm for someone behind me when I was going into a bank. It was those heavy thick all glass doors. Something in my shoulder audibly popped and I couldn't raise my arm. Went to 8 weeks of PT. I still feel it anytime I try to push back with my arm so I stop immediately. Hubby tore his rotator cuff and got frozen shoulder. The doc put him in same day surgery and manipulated the shoulder (which means he tore it again) so he could start over again with therapy. Now he can't lift his arm past mid chest area. Maybe it's good it's bursitis.
Hubby and I are going tonight to the dedication of the middle school that hubby was on the building committee. They came in on time and under budget so there is a lot to celebrate. This will be the first time I see the inside of the school. Reminds me I have to change the batteries in the camera.
Jeannie, glad to see you are back posting and on the mend. I haven't seen Cheryl lately, are you lurking?
Been missing the grandkids. I should give them a call before bedtime to talk to them.
Ate some chocolate yesterday, but I'm not going to beat myself up.
Hugs to all,
Bev
