Friday Morning
Hi Mary,
A lot of times I forget to sign my name, LOL. It's actually Cassie. My dad was Irish (he passed away just this August), both parents emigrated here from Sligo County at the turn of the century. I have always wanted to go because I know I have relatives there, cousins and such. (((hugs))) to you, I know what it is to miss a parent.
ETA: I like being called Irish, maybe that's why I forget, LOL.
Rumors are really scary and so are hard times. But you know what? Even if they do come, I have a feeling you will be ok, you and your DH will make it somehow. I am experiencing some very hard times right now. I say to myself, "this, too, shall pass." It's kind of like the way life is ... up down, up down, up down, like the roller coaster the grandma was talking about in "Parenthood".

happy friday everyone and good morning
im up with only a few hours sleep, had to bring Bob to the ER last nigth due
to some problems and they finally admitted him after midnight. so i got home
really late
then he called me at 4:30 grrrrrrrr, poor man was feeling lousy and could not
sleep.
so anyway, i guess ill wont be going in to work today, will head over to the
hospital and see what the docs say.

Boy Jacki, when it rains it pours eh? I hope Bob starts to feel better now that he's in the hospital where they can help his problems hopefully. You've certainly been through your share.
Make sure you take care of you, because if you don't you won't be any good to him!

I woke up at 3:30 and hopped on the computer to catch up on what's going on. I have this crazy internal clock. If I go to bed any earlier than 11 pm, I will wake up that much earlier in the morning. I sleep about 5 hrs/night. Looks like we are going to miss the worse part of the winter storm passing through our area today. I'm bringing a change of clothing to work with me in case I need to spend the night due to call-ins over the weather. At least it's Friday.

I hate insomnia, but the best thing to do is to get up and about instead of laying in bed watching the clock. Eventually, you'll get tired and then maybe you can catch a nap.
It's really cold....brrrr. I'm all bundled up in my robe and flannel PJs. It's supposed to be one of the coldest nights either tonight or tomorrow night. I'm ready for spring - lol

Good morning Jan and everyone.....
Jan....I too woke up in the middle of the night...I hate that!! Usually I take a couple extra strength Tylenol and drop right back to sleep....not this morning...too much on my mind.
My plans have changed....instead of spending the weekend with my daughter Carrie and the grandchildren I am going down to St Paul this afternoon and picking the kids up and bringing them here. I will take them back on Sunday evening. Carrie has to work long hours all weekend. Plus they are caring for someones dog...a German Shepard.... and I am very allergic to him....plus Carrie's two cats!! The kids are excited about coming to my house so I know we will have fun!!
Monday morning Jamie, Nic and Grace head to St Jude's/Memphis for the week. Nic has testing. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He looks so great and feels good...I pray the test results are good!!!
Jamie decided to go back to work a few hours. She will be working in the evenings 2-3 times a week. Travis and Nic will be in charge of Grace...yeah right...believe me Grace is the one in charge...LOL!!! Jamie will be going back to her old accounting job....she loved it there...I think the getting away from things will do her good.They would love her full time but that isn't possible right now.
Carrie goes for an interview Tuesday. It isn't exactly what she wants but she said the interviewing will be good practice....who knows it might turnout being more then she thinks.She is at least giving it a shot.
I need to go too the grocery store....stock up on kid friendly food...in other words JUNK...believe me there will be plenty of healthy food around too...only a few naughty things!!
