Good Sunday Morning to you all, What's New!!!!!
Good morning, ya'll.
Well, NC got hit with that storm. I know, not 'hit' according to you folks from the North. I used to live up there, and to us getting 'hit' with a storm was 4 FEET not 4 INCHES. But now I'm a southern gal, and my perspective changed. The 4" of snow fell just about 60 miles from here. No snow here in J-ville, just freezing rain. Our high yesterday was 33 and will be 32 today. Low of 20, but wind chill of 9 degrees. Another jammie and cocoa day. I'll be making a big ol' pot of soup later, or maybe chili.
Anyone like 'cow tails'? Those caramel things filled with white yummy insides? Our grandson brought some down yesterday and I had one. OMG, I wish I had a ton more. OMG, I'm glad I DON'T have anymore.
My partial refill has given me some restriction, but still not optimum. Can't wait til March or April when I can go get a fill with fluoro and I'll know I'm where I want to be.
I see Dr. A tomorrow and we will map out the rest of my chemo treatments. I am really hoping she will let me start this week. I know my blood work was fine.
Everyone try to stay dry and warm. So glad our electric didn't go out. So glad our heat pump is working great. So glad I can afford to pay an electric bill that may be double the norm.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!!
About the snow, yes, it's all relative, isn't it? When I used to live in MD, people went into a panic whenever a snow storm was approaching and they'd flood the stores to buy milk, bread, eggs and toilet paper. You'd think we'd be snowed in for weeks over 2-3 inches. It's different in NJ and I guess it's even different further north, like Buffalo or Maine or in the midwest where they get lots of snow. :) Chili sounds delish. I love chili or thick homemade pea soup on a cold snowy day.

Hard workers here. Let me introduce my self..I'm MJ from FL and NH...snowbird.
I was a very active member here in 2003. I can't remember if they had the over 50 group though. I found my doctor through OH and at that time, this site was so active it was unbelievable. I had the most beautiful profile with flowers and angels that a fellow member at OH designed for me. I logged in everyday. One day the whole thing was GONE. It felt like I had lost my "home" and really was inactive here from that day on. I think it was 2005 sometime.
Anyhow I am here!
Today is a hair cut this morning and a dinner dance this evening with my DH of 50 years. We are going with a group of 10 total, live band, should be fun.
Thursday is my brachioplasty so I intend to really dance up a storm and have a lot of fun!
Have a wonderful day everyone! MJ :-)

Carla - lucky you! Have a safe, fun trip. Glad you are liking your job.
We have a dusting of snow outside, but Maryland and Delaware were hit with lots more. It's bitter cold.
Today finds me working for a few hours and then hoping to enjoy the rest of the day with DH.
I was sorry to read that Marc left. We usually don't have conflict here at OFF, at least for the year I've been here. I hate to see anyone with hurt feelings. Hopefully, the conflict will be resolved and everyone will get along peacefully.
Happy Sunday!
