Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Well, I knew my name was the Gaelic version of Helen.

Gaelic version of Helen, meaning "light." Any expectant mother considering naming her daughter Eileen should recognize the likelihood that the song "Come On Eileen" will remain in the popular imagination and on radio stations for years to come, meaning young Eileen will most likely learn what it means to "come" on someone, thanks to a pervy kid in her seventh grade homeroom.

I remember that song and hated it when it was out because of a reporter on our paper at the time who used to sing it to me ... not because he was flirting with me at all, just to make fun of me.

By the way, here's a funny story about my name. I was named for my grandmothers. My Grandma Briesch was Helen, my Grandma Delort was Anna, so I was Eileen Ann. However, after Grandma Briesch died and my aunt and my dad were going through her things, we found out that her real name was Magdalena ... she never liked her name and a common nickname was Lena or Helen, so she always went by Helen. It's even on her marriage certificate as Helen, even though she never had her name changed ... so she might never have been legally married.

I could actually have been a Margaret, Maggie, Margie, Peggy ... well, you get the idea.

Oh man, I had to laugh.  My name meant  so many different things,

Here is one :

one who is seemingly innocent.

Mary is commonly known as a good girl, for example: the virgin mary ... however Mary is a bad girl who never gets caught

LOL could this be true?  I have to think about it

Wanda, what fun!

I knew that Susan was Hebrew for Lilly of the Valley, but I liked the 3rd option too

If you have a Susan, you are one lucky character! Susans are generally smart, musical, and generous. Never take advantage of a Susan; they also bite. Unless provoked, a Susan can make a great companion!
