New OFF Group should be visible for now ...

Hi guys,
I made our new group "visible" so that everyone can see it and if you want to join, you should be able to do so easily.

Jan asked about new members and I thought about that too. I think once everyone is in the group, we can post on the forum periodically and let everyone know about this group. Anyone who wants to join at that point i can "friend" and then send an invite...

New group is here. Over Fifty Friends

I'm keeping the anagram but changed Forum to Friends, figured it might be easier to distinguish?

My fear with the group thing is not everyone will move to the group and it will be difficult to keep up with 2 places to post/read.......it's hard enough for me to get to this one place on a daily basis.

I guess what I'm thinking is as much as I like the idea of the group if everyone doesn't go it just won't be the same. Know what I mean......

Oh yes, I do know what you mean. It could be that everyone will like the idea of the group and post there. Or maybe it will flounder. I'm not sure. But I figure there were enough of us that really objected to that share button so I'd give it a try since that was the only option OH was giving us. I mean, besides "get used to it". I am still rebellious enough to dislike a choice like that--"get used to it", "get over it" and so on.

I agree, and it is a concern to me too. Honestly, I think we should all move on from the share button issue. It's not going anywhere, and maybe it's a matter of trust. We just have to trust each other that we won't hit the damn button.

It's good to see you, Susan, on the new group! To answer your question, I think you should post where ever you like best! :)

ETA: Maybe the new group will take off and most of us will post there, maybe not. I guess play it by ear?
