This is true and this is what we were offered by OH.  Apparently the share button on this forum isn't going to go away because we're not an "adult forum" (I guess because of the content?) so our choices were basically to get used to it or make our own group without the share button.  Let's see how it goes!  :)

Jo, were you able to get onto the group page?  What you do is, go to the first post and click on the hyperlink.  It should take you to the group home page.  There should be a button there for you to click to join.  Let me know if you have any problems, 'k?  My computer crashed but am hoping to be able to borrow someone else's sporadically until mine is fixed!

im there too. thanks i hope this works because im like you we are adults and i dont think they have the right to say get use to it ...to any of us; they should realize that if all of the people on here quit comeing on that their advertisers wouldnt get sales and if the sales dont happen then they drop them and tell them to get use to it.  lol

I sent my request to join.  Thanks for doing this!  Should it be called Over 50 ADULTS so that OH will get rid of the share button?  Or is it already private?

Interesting enough, when you set up a group you can elect NOT to have the share button so it doesn't matter if we're adults or not.  So this way we don't have to be adults in the group if we don't want to!  :)  The group now is visible to everyone here that wants to join.  As long as we're not hassled, I'll probably leave it that way.  We do have the option of going "private" though and then it's by invite only...I'm glad you've joined us!  :D
