Mary,

You will get down to a size 14 too.  I never thought I would either.  I guess you don't realize if the scale isn't moving you are still losing in inches.  Keep up the good work, you will make it.

Peace
Mary

Millie,

Yes, life is grand.  Thank you for your support.   It was a great feeling.  Very emotional too.

I swear,  I don't think I ever wore a size 14.  Now at my age (57)  I wear it.  I only wish I would have done this sooner.  I am healthier, I know that.

Thanks again

Peace
Mary

Hi Connie,

Thanks for taking the time to support me.  I know you are always busy.  I am so happy to find people here who understand those milestones.  I don't think anyone at home really understands.  It is a happy time, and an emotional one too.  Every pound , every size is so exciting.  We deserve the happiness we get from those things.  We do, deserve them.  It is a lot of hard work.

Thanks again

Peace

Irish!

It is cool and I feel good about myself.  For once.  I am going to see my doctor today and wear the jeans and tell her all about it too.  I want to tell everyone...lol  Even people who wear a size 2.  lol

Thanks again for all your kind words and support.

Peace

Congrats to you Mary.  I know just how you're feeling. Bet you're on cloud 9.
I hadn't worn a size 14 in probably 30+ years until this past year.  It was really remarkable to hit that moment.  I've got to say this, and I guess Im bragging without real just cause.  I went to Christopher & Banks and tried on pants.  I wanted a pair that wasn't too dressy nor too casual, so I chose pants made of Moleskin.  They're really soft.  I started with a 12, went to a 10, then an 8 and finally bought a green and brown pair in size 6!  Now, trust me, I don't wear a size 6, these just happened to run really big, even the gal at the store said they run about two sizes big.  That makes sense because my jeans are size 10 now.  I'm still wearing a size XL, and Larges in tops, but I was absolutely shocked I fit into 6's so I had to buy them!  If you have a Christopher & Banks store near you check it out.  They have wonderful sales.  I got a Blazer (purple) for 6.99 and another one for 14.99.  I go in there everytime I go to the mall, because they have such great sales
. Enjoy this happy day!

Oh my god, Jani,

How exciting it is for you.  You have come a long way.  It is good to brag!  We deserve it.  I am sp proud of you.

I don't think we have a Christopher Banks here.  I have to look in the mall.  I really don't go to the mall.  Haven't been there since I was so overweight.  Nothing really fit me.  I am going to go soon, even to window shop and try things on.  I have no clue what my top size is too.  lol

Good work Jani,

Thanks again

Peace

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
