Good Morning....
I posted this on the OF Friends group too...... I'm still way too confused about where to post.  I don't like posting things twice but I feel I'm missing out if I don't come to both pages....oh what to do, what to do...

I got up early today to beat the crowds and did some shopping at Walmart and Target.  I all the stuff I need and two sweaters off the clearance rack...I love the $3.00 turtleneck...just what I needed.  :-)

It's supposed to warm up a little here tomorrow (close to 70)...if it doesn't rain I'll go out and do some yard work in my tiny yard.  Sometimes I miss the acre I had and sold but most of the time I do not miss ALL the hard work it took to maintain (although I must say it was beautiful).

I'll be watching the Olympics some today too....I do enjoy the winter Olympics especially.

I have a new sugar free microwave "mug cake" recipe I want to try but I forgot to buy the main ingredient so I'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a nice day!

Haven't been on in a while..I've been very tired.  This surgery (hernia) has kicked me in the butt.  I found out yesterday that the surgeon uses, a machine, like a small screw gun.  They put screws in the mesh to keep it into the abdominal wall...they put the screws in every 1/2 inch.  Thats about 30 to 40 screws into my abd. wall....DUH!!!!  NO wonder it hurt so darn much!!!!  WHY didn't he tell me that before????
My daughter took me shopping today.  I didn't want to spend money...well I found 2 sweater coats for $15 bucks each and they are cute.  A couple of shirts for summer...I'm ready

  Bring on the sun...

(((HUGS))) too all who need them.

Well we left home about 9:15 this morning to head to Omaha to look at cars.  We just got home about 15 minutes ago.  I'm pooped.  We stopped at 3 different relative's homes on the way home, so that's why it took so long to get home.  We were at the dealership for 4 hours! We are now the proud owners of a 2010 Dodge Nitro.

Since I will be the primary driver, my husband handed me the keys so I drove home.  I hate driving in Omaha.  I don't know the city well enough to feel comfortable, but managed to get out of town without a scratch. LOL

He's the one who test drove it.  I got in the back seat to see what the leg room is like, because whenever we go with another couple, we women always sit in the back seat.  Leg room is about the same as the mini van.  It sure drives nice.  We didn't trade the van.  We haven't decided if we will keep it or try to sell it privately.  It isn't worth much being a '99.   I was so tense driving home after dark.  The deer population is terrible in this part of the country.  I was so afraid one would run out in front of me.   There was one standing on the side of the road, but thank goodness he stayed put.  I just hate to drive after dark because of the deer.  I've never hit one but have come SOOOOO close so many times.  My husband hit one - well IT hit him.  Ran right into the side of his car.  They are beautiful but dumb animals. LOL

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
