So far the day is going well. Tom and I had a discussion about my eating and him bugging me. He can't quite understand that although I eat the same foods each day, it is okay. Then he said "you weigh as much as a fart" but will try to stop pestering. What a romantic.

B - cottage cheese , berries, Kashi
L - salad & deli ham
D - we have a whole buinch of left-overs - good pickings from the fridge and NO cooking
S - apple & pb

so far one cup of coffee.... well, it IS 10:15 and I've been up since 5 a.m... guess that's not TOO bad...

Now if I can just keep the rest of the day in check.

Albondigas is a Mexican  meatball soup made with lots of veggies and rice. I used brown this time since I've given up white foods for Lent.

Steady as she goes here.....

Bkfst = fiber cereal
Snack = 1/2 apple
Lunch = my homemade Tortilla crust veggie pizza (yummy!)
Snack = it's my "free day" today so I may have a small slice of left over pie with my coffee
Snack 2 =  Protein Shake and 10 almonds and 2 prunes (LOL!)
Dinner = not sure yet..might be Tilapia fish and some sort of veggies and bulgur wheat pilaf

I'm hoping to get back to my normally daily cardio routine starting on Monday...once I do that I can increase my cals back up a little bit.....for now I'm trying to stick to about 1,200 as I've been more sedentary post-op.

Are you pleased with this round of plastics? I'm starting to get some names together for consultations for mine. I'll have to ask lots of questions from all of you so I know what to ask the doctors!
