Good Morning all. Yesterday was not according to plan, forgot to take my hi-pro shake with men and improvised, but it went okay anyway. Had a yummy Greek salad from Cocos for lunch. Today looks like this (if I remember everything):
B-oatmeal with raisins & walnuts
S-hi pro shake (from yesterday)
L-turkey pastrami & low-fate cheese, dilled green beans.
D - not sure yet. Meat and veggies.
Lots of water.

Well, I haven't been posting my meals much because until now I've been living on basically 1 soft boiled egg, 3-4 wedges of low-fat soft cheese, juice and if I could keep it down 1 protein drink per day. That has been EVERY day for a week now. Yesterday, I decided to make some chicken soup (lemon-egg Greek style) with real chicken wings and legs, so for 2 days my lunch has been a baby bowl of that and 1/2 of a wing. Dinner was yesterday and will probably be today 1 soft-boiled egg and 2 cheese wedges and maybe a cracker. Snacks are mosty hot tea with honey and lemon (I have a BAD cold) a little juice and water.
I'm amazed at how little I need to eat to fill satiated, although I do feel hungry sooner.

Hot tea with lemon sounds good. I have a cold, but no honey. That's okay, the tea will be good.

Are you an American living in Greece, or are you Greek??  Either way, I don't think I recognize you, so welcome from me, if I haven't done it yet!

There is a very nice lady named Jodi O who comes here now and then. She is an American living in Saudi Arabia. Such a wonderful, diverse group of folks here!

Betsy, I'm glad you mentioned drinking with your meals. One thing my nutritionist said to me when discussing things that sabotage our weight loss, is drinking when eating. She said without exception everyone she has counseled about regain drinks some sort of fluid either with their meals, or not in compliance with the 30/30 rule.

I think it's something everyone needs to examine in their daily behaviors.

Keep rowing with us, we're here for you!
