we were sposed to get blasted with snow yesterday-was ucka in the morning on the drive west and gorgeous by noon! tomorrow; the car gets new tires so maybe i'll be able to drive up and down my own driveway--major hill ....once all of the ice and snow melt; we'll have mud! ahhh northern michigan! i love it!
tonite is the chamber of commerce mtg i have been waiting all month for- there is a project that i want to get involved in- i begged off tho for tonite- decided i cannot add one more thing right now-i'm sure the work will be there later....
my gramma turns 92 on friday-mom and i are sposed to drive down to sturgis to have cake with her -hope the weather cooperates....
my dad has an appt scheduled with the surgeon next week- there IS definitely a blockage in the bowel- since they are not rushing to operate it is safe to presume not "life threatening" --he doesn't know any more for now-tho they are going on assumption of cancer....
still can't find one piece of paper that is keeping me from filing our taxes- used to having the money back by now- frustration sets in - someone who lives here keeps moving things while i am gone...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...................i won't name names......

Grammylew.....So sorry to hear of the loss of your SIL brother. He was so young. Such a tragedy for a family that has lost so much.
Mary....I am praying for your nephew. He didn't mean to run over his favorite uncle. Yes he left the scene but it wasn't an intentional situation. He was just scared and didn't think clearly. It was an accident. I am also praying for your sister....bless her heart!
As for me....got a cold...feeling YUCK!!
I ended up working 9 hours yesterday...what a ZOO! Today is a little better but not much. I only work 22 hours a week. At this rate I will be off work for the weekend by tomorrow afternoon!!
I am sending out many prayers and hugs to so many of you today. Seem to be a lot of not so good news on here lately.

Good morning, ya'll.
We had a wonderful visit with my aunt and uncle yesterday afternoon. I miss being nearer to family.
My DIL will be over soon to pickup some left over chicken pot pie to take to work for her lunch. She'll also take one of the pies I made yesterday. We only cut into one.
My SIL's half brother had a brain aneurysm yesterday (same Mom). He was 17. They are taking him off life support today. My SIL's parents divorced when he was young. They both remarried and had other children. His other half brother (same Dad) was killed in a car accident some years ago, also at 17. Now it's just my SIL and his half sister.
Lots of rain yesterday. My back yard is a wading pool still this morning! More rain tomorrow sometime. I guess it's good for the Spring flowers that will be peeking out soon.
Had my last neupogen shot yesterday. My uncle that was here yesterday went through the whole cancer thing about 8 years ago. He also had to take these shots. One of the things that has been bothering me is the joint/muscle aches/pains. He said he had the same thing, and they lasted for months after he was done with the shots. We have lots of cancer's in our family. Many survivors, many weren't so lucky. They sure need more research on this disease.

Gramylew, I am sorry about the death. So young.
I hate to bring depressing news here but it is the only place I can talk because my whole family is devastated.
Today they are going to charge my nephew. They had a survelince tape. The neighbor had one on his house. It shows his uncle sitting in the middle of the road dressed in black. My nephew never saw him. The only thing that he got out of the car and tried to wake him and then left the scene in shock and panic. He turned himself into the police that morning.
My sister is doing as well as expected. Heart broken that her son killed his favorite uncle and she is afraid her son is going to jail for a long time. They don't have money so will have to use a public defender.
My sister had an operation on her foot in November and has a staph infection the doctors can't get rid of. It makes all of this even more difficult. She is on IV's and the nurse comes everyday to change her bandage. It makes it hard for her to walk.
I have been a wreck, walking around crying all the time. I find myself snacking more at night and don't sleep well at all.
Sorry to burdon all of you with my problems. I am asking, no begging, for your prayers.
