Hi Judy,

Thanks for the recipe.  Can you use frozen tilapia?  And, do you turn them while they are cooking?

I hate to sound dumb..lol

Peace
Mary

Hi Mary,

Some of the ways I make it are to use salsa or some white cooking wine, lemon and seasoning, such as garlic pepper grinder or garlic, onion and pepper. . .  You can put it in tin foil with the ingredients and close it up and bake in a preheated over for about 7 minutes. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Hi Mary and everyone on OFF,

I've been up since 5:30 but just now getting online and around to my favorite websites.

Mary, I'm so glad you got a good night's sleep.  I'm really sorry about your sister but please don't beat yourself up.  What's happening to her is out of your control and so are her feelings.  You can't be there for her 24/7 because you've got your own stuff going on.  Be supportive of her as much as possible without sacrificing yourself and please don't feel guilty about that.  I have a feeling we're alike in that respect and I'm guessing that you're being hard on yourself.  I'm learning not to be.  You sure have a lot on your plate!

Not much to report here, just the same old stuff, another doctor's appointment, still waiting to hear about mortgage restructure and blah blah blah.  I'm worried about my grandson, long story.

Hope you all have a great day,
Cassie

Hi Irish,

It is a difficult time for all of us. We seemed to be emersed in her problems.  I worry because she has a few mental issues going on, on top of everything else.  She was diagnosed with schizophrenia and other things.   I am worried this could trigger things for her,

Yesterday I did get a good sleep.   This morning, up at 4.

I do have my own things going on and you are right about not being able to be there 24-7.  It takes a toll on everything, and everyone.  Everything seems out of sink.

I know I shouldn't feel guily but I do.  Have to get over that feeling and just know I am doing the best I can for now.

Thanks for your kind and helpful words.   They helped me.

Peace
Mary

Good morning OFFer's!!!!

Nothing much is going on here. We are planning on doing some more packing and such today. Bill just told me that we are going to pack up the stuff in the pantry. I just started laughing and asked him if he is planning on eating any time in the next month and a half. ha ha

It is nice out today since the sun is out bright and shinning. I don't think it is so warm out but the sun is out. If you can't be grateful for what you have then be grateful for what you don't have I guess.

Kayden is going to stay with his mother for a couple of days starting today. They came over yesterday so that we could spend some time with him before he goes. That was Dad's idea.....I get the feeling that any excuse will do. ha ha  We ended up going to the dollar store and doing some shopping that I didn't really need to do. I did get Kayden a balloon. I got him one that last time we went and he loved it. He had it for a week and just enjoyed it so much. Last time the balloon had sports things on it since he is a boy and yesterday it was a blue star. He just loves them and Shawn just rolled his eyes when he saw Grandpa and I walking up with one. Heck...it brings him such happiness and joy and only for a dollar...cheap entertainment for him.

I guess I should get going. Bill is back from outside and he is going to hound me about getting going. I send love and hugs to all and prayers and good thoughts are here for everyone. Have a wonderful day and remember to smile and spread your love to others. It will come back to you tenfold!!!!

We got back from Des Moines about 9:30 this morning.  My DH found out (again) that he DOES have sleep apnea and should be using his CPAP machine.  We'll see how long he uses it this time before deciding that it doesn't help.  Last time it was about 4 weeks.

We got to our daughter's around 4:30 yesterday afternoon looking forward to a nice quiet evening with her, SIL and 2 granddaughters.  But SIL's cousin was there with his girlfriend.  Eric is a pilot and we really like him, but his girlfriend - well not so much.  She's VERY loud and annoying.  So there was no quiet time to speak of.  The grandkids love both of them because they do get down on the floor and play with them...which also makes it more loud.

Anyway, at least I got a few hugs and kisses.  LOL

I have a hair appt. this afternoon.  Needing to cover some of the gray and badly need a cut too, even though I get it cut every 3 weeks.  It just grows so fast.  I hope I don't go through any hair loss issues, but I guess it's pretty common.

Have a great day!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

The hair loss thing sucks.  I too was hoping to not have it happen, but alas, it has.  I'm getting it highlighted next Saturday to cover the gray, or blend the gray in with the rest.  I'll get it trimmed too, but it doesn't grow as quickly now, so it just will need the trim, not a full blown cut.
The things we go through for our health, eh?

Good morning all, thought I would post, its been awhile.

Im cleaning out closets,,woohoo. Actually, its the closet in my office where I hide everything I dont know what to do anything else with. Anyone else have one of those?? I have a junk drawer too, so I guess this is my junk closet. So far I have one trash bag full and ready to go,,starting another one. After all, yard sales will be starting before long, and I hafta have room for more stuff,,right??

Im restarting the back to basics thing too. I was doing so well till I got that dreaded nasty flu. Im better now though,,so back on track.

The sun is shining again today,,,YAAAAY! That means the fat Schnauzer and I get another good walk in. She loved that,,and since she has gained weight over the winter as well,,its good for both of us. Im really outta shape though, so will be increasing the distance a bit every day.

Not a lot else goin on though, just everyday stuff.
Hope you all have a blessed day!
Betsy
