WOW! it's Wednesday- What's new?

What wonderful, newsy, interesting posts today!

 I, too, am really looking forward to spring.  In fact, I'm trying not to get down with the current bleak, dark, and rainy weather.  The sun will come out in Minnesota soon, I hope!

Things are going along well at my house.  Michael is doing well on his program, walking, sipping, doing his vitamins, trying to drink protein and eat his pureed stuff.   He is doing dialysis again, and will be back to driving on Friday (yay!).  So that's going well.

I'm busy, as usual, at work.   Seems like just when things slow down, another item pops up!  I'm getting tired, but working for over 40 years.  Hoping I can retire in a few.... but time will tell.

afternoon margo and OFF...

well went to get my new bras and found out the sale doesn't start til tomorrow!!!! GRRRRRRR have to make another trip back to the mall after work tomorrow afternoon and get them now. sighs...but it IS a great deal so i can't be to mad about it i guess.

sun was out but its now gone...had a few sprinkles and that also stopped for now. rain is coming and it will melt the ugly snow away and make another mess of things here.

took a ride down to lake erie and saw alot of guys out fishing and the ice gone near the pier. i did get a couple pictures of the ice there...then went back to where i went yesterday and took a few more shots of the ice and snow...was alot prettier yesterday when the sun was out. but it is still pretty out there.

stopped at the thrift store to look around...have to LOL at them because for it being a "thrift" store it sure is expensive!!!!! didn't buy anything at all....WAY to expensive for me to buy "used" items!!!

not much else happening here...oh!! i did drop off the afghan for ricks mom....had it in a nice bag and handed it to her...she said i already know what it looks like and its going to look nice in my living room....well geee thanks for letting me know that!!! she could have atleast took it out and opened it up to look at it with me there...oh well....its out of my apartment now and i don't have to look at it ever again!!!

well i am going to go start moving furniture now...might open the patio door let some fresh air in here get some of the stink out from ricks smokes....i hate the smell of stale cigarettes on everything!!! noticed it yesterday on my shirt whem i was being fitted for the bra....YUCK!!!!!

Morning Margo and OFF
Got a few minutes to get this in as 'morning'..time sure flys when you're wasting time at work LOL

Sure would rather be at home; the sun is shining but still a bit cold (but then I'm always cold) and temps won't reach much over 55 degees today.  Wind is blowing a northern chill our way so while no rain in the forecast, I'm still in 'layers' trying to stay warm.

DH mowed the back lawn yesterday which was a real chore for him...grass and weeds had to be 2ft high and wet from the ground up the first foot.  I'm still feeling miserable with this cold that just won't let go :-(  And for some ungodly reason I stayed up til 1;30am this morning...and I am paying for it today trying to work.  I just want to lay my head down and sleep.  At least it is quiet with the guys in the office out at meetings until Friday...just the office mgr and myself holding down the fort ^_^

Nothing else on my plate or calendar...sure happy to hear you all back east are done with the snow storms.  I love the rain but I'm afraid what you have to experience as 'winter' is much more than what I could ever handle.  I'm sure you've figured out how to stay warm ;-)

I got my quiches in the oven right now and the kitchen smells wonderful. I made spinich and an onion one.
Shorty is turning out to be a good boy. He slept thru the night on his blankets. He loves his back yard. I only hope the rotweiller that lives across the street doesn venture out in our yard. My cat Tevia on the other had is a chicken ****!!!!! He has taken up to hide behind my tv in the living room.
Ok I did it. I joined a gym 20.00 a month and I can take a guest everytime I go. It is called youfit. but it is only down in Florida.
Sunshine, Lollipops and rainbows make a good combination!!!!!
