Sorry this is getting a late start today, I actually slept in until 7:30, then had to have coffee in order to get the old brain working well enough to find a recipe to post today. This one comes from Recipezaar.com, my favorite recipe site. If you haven't checked it out, you should. There are over 400,000 recipes there, and new ones added every day. Check it out!

I have not tried this recipe as it was just posted yesterday. The fat is a little higher than I'd like, but I will used Eggbeater instead of the egg, and ground sirloin. But take a look at the protein! Also, I'll make it on a 9x13 cookie sheet instead of a pizza pan. Easier to store in the fridge. Again, lots of ideas for additions here according to what you have in your fridge, or what you like.

I have a lot of leftovers still to get rid of, so I'll come back later and let you know what my menu was today. Better to ask forgivness than permission....lol

Love and hugs to all. Hope your day is a smooth sail!

Here's my day so far, and what I have planned for the remainder:

latte, 2 cups protein coffee

1-4 inch pancake, 2 slices thin, extra crispy bacon

1/2 meatloaf sandwich on double fiber bread

protein coffee

leftover corned beef with cabbage, a few slices of potato and carrots

applesauce and cottage cheese for a snack.

Good morning Susan
You recipe intrigues me....2 of my favorites, meatloaf and pizza.  I'll have to check it out.

For me today the menu is:

B- 1 egg, homemade bread, diced veg, .5 oz feta cheese, 4 oz OJ, tea, tea, tea....and more tea
S- cantaloupe
L- (will be a late lunch)  Fillet Mignon, grilled veg ( zucc, peppers, tom on the BBQ), 1/2 a potato, Salad
S- 10gr 80% dk choc, 1/2 a lg apple, coffee
S- Protein shake w/added fiber
D- something lite like cottage cheese w/applesauce, or yogurt with fiber cereal and honey (not sure yet)

I'm going to be making mini meatloaves tomorrow so they are ready to reheat after surgery (Makes it easy for Matthew to have a bunch of meals ready and since he is doing so much to help care for me with all these surgeries it's the least I can do to have healthy meals ready and easy for him to throw together).  I may save some of the meat to try your pizza recipe...I'm going to check it out now.

Thanks for helping me stay focused on maintaining my weight loss by staying accountable.
Have a great day

There weren't any reviews on it yet, but I'm going to make it either today or tomorrow evening. I've been doing a lot of once a week cooking so if I have to work late to fill in for the owner, Gary has things to grab for dinner. I will use 2% cheese also instead of the full fat type. Even so, as the recipe is written, there are only 8 grms of fat in a serving. I like to keep mine below 10 for each meal.

Will be keeping good thoughts for your up coming surgery!

Weather is the same here as there. It was 78 on Friday, and they're calling for flurries tonight. AGH!

While I was reading your post I was having left over corned beef and cabbage. My brain saw your "crablegs" and read cabbage at $4.99 a lb. Wow, I thought, that better be some damn good cabbage!

you could always skip the cornbread?
